"A Rural Affair"
A good fun book to listen to that flows along easily. Good story. One to go for if you want something easy and gentle.
"Light read with some funny parts"
It was a lovely story about a girl I could identify with. Everything she does goes wrong but she comes right in the end. With some funny moments along the way.
Poppy and her father
The hunt and the ball
It made me laugh
A nice holiday read with a few funny moments especially when her husbands dies
"overall a good ending"
ive read many books by catherine alliott but dont feel this was her best at times there was too much detail leaving me wanting to skip along to get to the interesting bit but overall it turned out to be a good listen, narrated well
"A bit drawn out"
Some good characters especially the her father. There were some and very funny dialogs and laugh out loud moments. For most of the book Poppy was wrapped up in her own thoughts. Great narration just not my cup of tea.
