Publisher's summary

Cole Renzo thinks his greatest challenge is to behave for the remainder of his term at Halfway House. Until he meets his new boss, Ty Calloway, a man who ticks off every box on Cole's list of interests.

A sought-after restorer and customizer of exotic and collectible cars, Ty had enough confidence to command what he wanted in life, until one fateful night changed everything. Almost two years later, he's slowly rebuilding his life with great control. He's defied the odds and works tirelessly to be the man he once was - but he still feels broken.

Cole's candor and unfiltered personality awaken Ty's barely-remembered desire to greet each new day with a smile, while Ty's unwavering acceptance of Cole's quirks and brash humor makes Cole feel as if he fits in for the first time in far too long. When a nemesis threatens Ty's personal restoration and the things he holds dear, Cole is determined to protect their relationship, even if that means sacrificing everything he's worked so hard to achieve.

But Ty will have to let his guard down, surrender control, and admit he needs Cole first, even if that puts him at risk of breaking beyond repair.

This is book three in The Men of Halfway House series. Although part of a series, this book can be heard as a standalone.

Not what I’d hoped for

I love this book. I’ve read it four times before i noticed it was on Audible, and you can imagine my excitement. So when I started listening to it, I had such high hopes but I was so disappointed. The narrator’s voice was so monotone. There was no passion. No emotion. Very little distinction between the male characters. This book could have been amazing with another narrator.

Loved this continuation of the series

I’m a huge fan of The Men of Halfway House series and love that I get to experience it in audio! The narration of Ty and Coke is so spot on that now I even hear it in Tremblay’s voice when I reread the book. The side characters are appealing enough to make you want to know their story without stealing the show from the current MCs. There’s some angst & feels through out the story but it doesn’t not override Cole’s mile a minute mouth and the romance that blossoms between him & Ty. All in all I highly recommend this book as a contender for your next listen.

Loved it...

What a great story! I love, love!! The story of Tye and Cole is a great restoration toward believing in happily ever after. Once I started, I had to finish. Ten plus hours never went by so fast. Great story by Jaime Reese and Greg Tremblay's narration brought the story to life. A definite recommend...

A Restored Man (audiobook)

I love this series! I was hesitant at first to try out the audio of this book , as it's my favorite from the series. But the minute I heard the sample I knew Ms.Reese had done a perfect job in choosing Greg Tremblay for the narrator. He was brilliant and he captured the soul of those characters to perfection. Outstanding job !

I’d give it 10 stars if I could!

PLEASE put the rest of the books in this series on audio. This book was everything. Cole and Ty both stole my heart. Brilliantly written and Greg Tremblay narrated it beautifully.

Captivating, intense.

This is by far one of the best books I've "read" in a long time! From the moment I hit play to the credits I was encapsulated by the words! The narrator's personification of each character really helps to connect with them. You have almost a clearer picture of the story than what Hollywood could produce. I am an over the road trucker, so I listen to audible quite a bit, this book made the drive through 3 states zip by. I couldn't even remember much of the drive because of how enveloping this story is. Without giving anything away; when he said I love you I was so happy. This book describes my love for my boyfriend, who I want to marry. So I was emotionally vested in this title! My ONLY complaint is that audible doesn't have any more titles by Jaimee Reese.
