Publisher's summary

Three months have passed since the events of The Wrong Woman.

Saskia is now working part-time with Jaiden, who is struggling to hide her feelings for her new friend and coworker.

Saskia thought Jaiden was flirting with her when she invited her to work "undercover", and she's frustrated that their private investigations have never wandered even remotely close to the erotic.

Neither Jaiden nor Saskia have had much luck with love. But when they finally kiss, it feels different...passionate...and unconditional.

Then a major problem comes crashing into Jaiden's life and her first instinct is to hide it.

And as secrets and lies start to spiral out of control, Saskia questions whether she should ever have trusted Jaiden with her already wounded heart.

A Question of Trust is the sixth novel by Jane Retzig and sequel to her popular lesbian mystery romance The Wrong Woman.

Love all of Retzig novels

This is a wonderful sequel. Her characters and story are well developed and you care to learn more about them. Her stories are not the typical arc of romance novels. I would highly recommend this book.

What is Trust?

This book helped me open my eyes. Trusting new people that come into my life is hard. This book helped me remember that there’s two sides to every story. Off to my next adventure.

Great book!

Wow! I really enjoyed this book!. I am officially totally hooked on this series. Finished this one yesterday and have started listening to the third book(A Betrayal) and just bought the fourth book (A perfect Storm" ). Jane Retzig is an amazing writer! Her characters have so much depth (I so love Saskia!) . You feel like you know them and you feel their joys and their sorrows. The narrator, Anne Day-Jones was perfect for this book! I loved the voices she used for tall the characters. This was a great listen!

Excellent writing and phenomenal narration

Just following the quirky character of Saskia is already worth the price of admission. The dry wit and unfolding stories of these characters in this series keeps me happily entertained for hours while I do chores.

Another Great Story from Ms. Retzig

Though this story, as opposed to Kate and Nan's journey in the last installment, wasn't quite as perilous for character outcomes, the characters continue to be rich. The head hoping was skillfully done, allowing us to be relieved of perceptions in our good guys, while keeping us in the dark about the bad guys.

There were enough dangled tendrils to allow me the hope of more to come from the PI, ney Met. I agree it's a slippery slope when the law and right don't quite align themselves. Let's hope our do-gooder with the big heart walks it safely.

SPOILER ALERT:
I do not get the hope between Jaden sleeping with and defending Mary to Mary being Jaden's long-lost mother. Huh?!? Anyway. The rest was great. Hopefully Sash will become more than two dimensional.

I've always loved mysteries. Well, I love mystery stories, not necessarily IRL mysteries. Through the suspension of reality, I am able to dispassionately live through tangled intricacies in plots. Thank you, Ms. Retzig.

Finally, they share a kiss that is passionate and full of promise. Then the secrets of an investigation leads to misunderstandings that make Saskia question Jaiden’s trustworthiness. Will love Jaiden be able to find a missing girl while healing her girlfriend’s heart? Wonderful mystery and narration. Recommend.
