Griffin expertly explores the universal search for love and the difficulties that face women of a certain age." (Booklist)
This was a good read but i am reminded why I prefer male narrators. Shari has a veri artificial annoying shaky voice that i had to press my way beyond. Her voice rises and falls at the wrong times...the worst trait for a narrator in my oppinion. Search for narration by Patricia Floyd or Susian Spain for an excellent delivery by a female.
No. I don't backtrack.
I went back and forth wondering which man Emily would choose.
I enjoyed the scenes where Emily was confronted by the mother-in-law.
