For 30 years, Nadine Kingsley has kept a heart-wrenching secret. When a letter arrives threatening to reveal the truth that could destroy her tight-knit family, Nadine embarks on a difficult journey to explain her painful decision, especially to her youngest daughter, Autumn.
Meanwhile, Autumn Anderson, speech pathologist and mother of two, is struggling in her marriage. The discovery of a troubling letter addressed to her mother disrupts her already complicated life, leading Autumn to question what she's always believed.
When the unthinkable happens, Autumn digs deeper into her family's past and unravels a tangled web of lies and deception surrounding her own birth. Meeting the one person her mother entrusted with her secret brings Autumn face-to-face with an unexpected and shocking revelation. A Mother's Choice is a fast-paced, uplifting, emotional book, full of family drama, love, hope, and forgiveness.

This book was journey into generations of a family built on love, acceptance and like all of us a few skeletons. I loved the cadence of the story as well as the narrator of the audio book. It made me feel as if I was there while it all unfolded. And I find myself thinking of Autumn and wondering how she's doing. I really enjoyed every aspect of this story! turkey Fantastic!
Yes! It captured my attention all the way through. Didn't want to stop listening. Didn't want the story to end.
Nadine. She went through so much but survived with her faith intact.
I've started to read a second Kristin Noel Fischer book. I'm a fan!
Fischer has created a story full of genuine, interesting characters, and Friedman delivers each of them with a unique flavor.
Autumn. She was very relatable as a wife, daughter and mother. Fischer creates a woman that has the wide scope of feelings we all experience.
I think it would be Nadine. It was nice to hear her portrayed in her early years as well as a woman with grown children.
Nadine. The life she experiences and the choices she makes will stay with you.
I loved A Mother’s Choice treasure trove of multigenerational family dynamics. One of the best things is this novel’s twists and turns. I don’t want to give anything away, but generally, the story seamlessly alternates between the sixties and present day. It involves family secrets, that are gripping but not too dark, unraveled layer by layer. It has a fun mystery feel to it.
One of the things I loved the most was the wonderful motherhood intimacies and comical tibits that made the story so personal. Fischer is genius at writing children and I fell in love with Autumn’s sons Zane and Logan.
I loved Renata's performance! Her voice is soothing and her dramatic moments draw you in. She sounds like she has acting experience - her characterizations are spot on!
Hard to pick one...there are two character that were most memorable for me. Nadine’s story, surrounding the romantic love of her life and her best girlfriend, pulls at all the right heart strings.
And Autumn's story, involving the relationships with her mom, big sister and various siblings, as well as her husband (who is torn between career pursuits and his personal life), gives wonderful insights and humor into family dynamics.
Overall, it’s an uplifting story of questioning faith and finding renewed hope.
Audio Books is my new passion. They have made my time in the car the last few years something to look forward to. Just Lovin Life!
I really enjoyed this book. This is my first of Kristin Noel Fischer and I am glad I found her. I will be going on to her second book on audio and look forward to it. Surprised she only has two books on audible. Would recommend!

What a pleasure it was to listen to this audio book! Together, Kristin Noel Fischer and Renata Friedman made this book unforgettable. The characters were well developed and the story line believable. There are small twists and turns that keep you wondering what would happen and it wasn't always what I expected. I can't wait to listen to more from both author and narrator.

I couldn't stop listening. A Mothers Choice is a story about love, faith, and how the choices we make today can and will effect the rest of our lives. As you listen to the story unfold you find yourself immersed and invested in the lives of two strong women. And as you journey through their lives and choices what you end up with is a whole love. Love, between a man and a woman, mothers and children, friends and faith. It was a great story beautifully written by Kristin Noel Fischer and performed by Renata Friedman.
I loved both the print and audio edition. I think I liked the audio better because I really got lost in the story since I listened while doing housework.
Well I don't want to give anything away.....but there are some serious twist and turns.
Renata Friedman did a great job capturing each of the characters voices. I felt like it was really well done.
Motherhood is not for the weak of heart.
I loved reading A Mothers Choice by Kristin Noel Fischer when it first came out. I was so excited to see it come out in audio format. I like to listen to books on my headphones while cleaning, or working on projects around the house. Listening and hearing the story for the second time I felt like I was visiting old friends. I had forgotten some of the twist and turns of the book and found my self anxiously waiting to see how the story unfolded. The narrator did an excellent job at creating the characters voices and made it easy to get lost in the world of Nadine Kingsley. I would highly recommend listening to this.
