incredible story.
I absolutely loved revisiting this tale of some simple cattle herders. The family is very likable as well as supporting cast members. The highs and lows really pull on your heart strings as well as tell an incredible story.

A Native Floridian Must
While an engaging and beautiful story, it is also heart wrenching at both a person and environmental level. This is my third read (listen) of this books over the past 25 years and I gain new insight each time. If you truly love the essence of natural Florida that this book captures.
