Ruth had never been with a white man, and she never thought that she would be, but when he caught her at the bar, attraction was instant. She couldn't tell if it was his green eyes, the stubble on his chin, or that smirk that made it seem like he had already won, but she wasn't able to turn away. A quick meeting turns into so much more when she finds herself back at the apartment of a white man who loved to take control. It's exactly what Ruth needed, even if she didn't know it yet.

Story is great but don't you ever let this person narrate a book for you. He was the absolute worst I have ever heard. He sounded like a robot! !!!
Traveling therapist listening to AUDIBLE books while driving to far areas. Also host/produce radio show on KGLP 91.7 on staying positive!!
Bwwm audible stories are few and far between. This is a short " hook up" story. Not a falling in love situation. The voice actor is mono tone and choppie. The words.. a bit crude BUT some people like that type of story. The best multi racial stories are the ones that "mention" the racial differences as a matter of fact and just to describe the characters. Constantly mentioning the characters race is... Uncomfortable and seemed forces\d. Mentioning the shading differences is a much nicer way. but, I appreciate the effort. Worth the small asking price??? Maybe.. Keep going Ariana Young.. But perhaps try another narrator.
The story was fine but the narration was horrific.
As long as there is a different narrator
Disappointment...only because of the narration.
