Publisher's summary

From New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Thea Harrison… This book contains "Dragos Takes a Holiday", "Pia Saves the Day", and "Peanut Goes to School" (two novellas and a short story in the Elder Races series, previously published separately). All three stories focus on the Cuelebres, the First Family of the Wyr. "Dragos Takes a Holiday": When the Cuelebre family heads to Bermuda for some much needed R&R, it’s no ordinary weekend in the sun. Between Pirates, treasure hunting, and a baby dragon…what could possibly go wrong? "Pia Saves the Day": The Cuelebres have moved to upstate New York where they finally have the space to indulge their Wyr side, and Liam can grow in safety. Their idyllic situation is shattered when Dragos is injured and stripped of his memory. Without Pia’s taming influence, there’s nothing holding back Dragos’s darkest side. "Peanut Goes to School": Dragos Cuelebre is no longer the only dragon. At just six months of age, Liam has already grown to the size of a large five-year-old boy. In an effort to give him a taste of normality, his parents enroll him in first grade. But school has a surprising number of pitfalls, and Liam is fast becoming one of the most dangerous creatures in all of the Elder Races.

Love this family

This was such a nice collection of stories. It may not be essential to the main story line in the elder races series but it really adds so much to the experience. I will read anything about Pia and Dragos. I’m glad this was available.

Peanut Grabs Your Heart with 2 Claws

2014 Ms Sophie male voices are nice and deeper for Dragos. Author’s sense of humor just lifts you up when you least expect it.
It Takes a disciplined writer to pen a great short story and Ms Harrison has got the gift. All three of these novella’s will bring a big smile to your face, but Peanut runs away with your heart.
Do not miss the Moon Shadow box set trilogy, wow great entertainment and ms Sophie has wonderful deeper male voices.
The publisher summary does not due justice to the enjoy you will get.

Great addition

These stories give you more of the characters you love and really show the family dynamics. And Liam is great!

Excellent stories

I loved these additions to the Elder Races. I dont usually read the short stories but sadly, I read all the main books (except Shadows End, cuz it's the last and I'm dragging my feet to really finish). These are very good stories and I was surprised at the middle story where Dragos has an accident and loses his memory. He does not fully get it back and I'm surprised such a huge development happens in a short story. I am thrilled Thea found more stories in her incredible imagination for Pia and Dragos in a new short story called The Unseen. I can hang on to these amazing characters a little longer!

Dear Ms Harrison,

Here I am, hearing snippets of Dragon Bound for the Nth time. It is my companion and inspiration on life for years, like a sudo husband. I have read the Drago series countless times, The Chosen twice and intend to do it again. I read some books even thrice from the Elderly Races, such as the story of Ninian and Thiago. I did not enjoy the Burn/demon series.

There is another autor I quite like, Danika Dark, one of my favorite books being Impulsive (but the whole collection and her other collections too). Between you two, and Jane Austen, whose combination of words need to be savored slowly like chocolate, I have a hard time discovering just as addictive authors as yourselves. And gosh, I waste numerous hours searching and experimenting other reads, such as J Probst and several others with great number of reviews and sense of humour. I even explore authors without much great reviews. Still, I feel like I depend on you and wait for the next time I will be swoon and inspired.

I initially went to you because I love romance. But with time and loads of reading, I understood the reason I always gravitate towards Dragon Bound and you is not really about Dragos and more about Pia; or even The Chosen. It is about the heroines Ms Harrison!!! It is about the heroines!

I think we need this balance of kind and brave, smart but sweet, self sacrificing but holds her ground and stands for herself kind of woman. These stories of noble and beautiful heroines, which are so awesome that in the end, they finally are rewarded with an equally amazing partner for life. That is what is spectacular about your stories. They are inspirational. And also the characters are relatable, like Pia’s first chapter, when she has made many poor choices and is in the dumps.

It is definitely not the romance; which can always be senseless and shallow.

Of course, you would not be my favorite author if your plots, adventure, and kept up excitement with sense of humour wasn’t off the charts! Gosh, I LOVE your books.

Please, make up more characters like Pia, Dragos, Liam, The Chosen and her match! I am waiting.

Love,
Luciana

Dragon Family Goodness

Love this compilation of 3 novellas covering Dragos, Pia & Liam...and they’re a must read for continuity in the series.
Dragos Takes a Holiday: Pia gently manipulates Dragos into taking a vacation hunting for sunken treasure. They run into conflict with other hunters, adding adventure. The snippets of Liam growing in leaps, and his first adventure were the highlights for me.
Pia Saves the Day: Dragos is severely injured with memory loss when an excavation explosion dumps rock on him. Pia quickly mobilizes support and goes after Dragos to try to heal, support and protect him. This is a very emotional story, and the scene with Liam near the end is bittersweet.
Peanut Goes to School: Liam is growing so fast, that Dragos and Pia decide that he needs the experience of school for socialization with other children. Liam’s first day brings multiple learning experiences that we hear from his point of view.
I really, really like how Harrison writes how Dragos and Pia love and parent Liam in these stories.
Eastlake does a decent job of narration.

The collection isn't worth it

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

The books were great but the Collection isn't worth it if you already have Pia Saves the Day or Peanut goes to School. These are 2 of the 3 books included in this collection.

Good look at the family!

I am re-reading/ listening to the elder races books for about the 5th or 6th time. In this topsy turvy(scary)time, we need to be reminded that even dragons and unicorns have problems figuring things out.
I especially want to mention that as a 70 year old who has been married for 50 years (!) It was nice to be reminded that even humans can be mated for life. I'm not sure I could survive if my "mate" died
when will Ninaeve and Tiago's story/baby be here?
