The reader is not reading a book. He is trying to dramatize it and doing a bad job at it. Overacting and badly delivered voices destroyed the book for me. That is a shame since I really liked the stories.
"more hill please"
All hail the new king. another Joe Hill masterpiece more please
. read all so far not disappointed
"Twentieth century horror more like"
Not bad. Not all that bad at all but twentienth century ghosts? Really? Apart from the first one none of them in my opinion were actually ghost stories at all. They were horror stories rather and some of them beggar belief but overall not too bad if you like mysterious things that take a bit of believeing sometimes.
"Joe King of the hill"
Pretty good some of the stories are a little bit weaker than in volume 2.
A good listen some very gruesome bits and some things to make you think
"Only one ghost"
the rest of the stories were more horror. They ended rather abruptly, so I'm only giving it two stars, sorry.
