Publisher's summary

I thought I hated not fitting in. Turns out I hate having a target on my back even more.

Someone wants me taken out. To accomplish that, they leaked the secret of my magic to all the Packs in the Midwest. Now, almost every Alpha in the region has traveled to my hometown in hopes of convincing me to join their Pack.

And some of them don’t seem to think I should have a choice.

Greyson won’t stand for that—something he makes deadly clear to the other Alphas. What they don’t know is that I’m his long missing mate. But wolves and hunters are enemies, and my hunter magic blocks me from accepting the bond, even though I’m starting to wish I could.

Our incomplete mate bond is a constant drain on Greyson. Its existence puts him in danger—something he stubbornly ignores.

But as risky as our bond is, I have to stay focused on the biggest threat at the moment.

Whoever shared the secret of my powers wants to destroy our Pack. And we’re about to find out how far they’ll go to make that happen.

Fated is the final book in the Pack of Dawn and Destiny urban fantasy trilogy, and is part of the Magiford Supernatural City world. It features werewolves, hunters, and fae, and is filled with humor, adventure, and a sweet romance that will have you laughing outloud.

Another go-to story

K. M. Shea’s books have become some of those books that I return to. This one is no exception. It’s witty, fun, with a little adventure. Great conclusion to the series.

Loved it!

This series was excellent and very similar to the other Magiford books (other than a different plot, different race, and different characters 🤓). It was funny and heartwarming. I loved the focus on pack/family and overcoming the struggles of loneliness and acceptance. At first I thought the touchy feely werewolf culture was going to be a bit awkward, but after the first few scenes it became natural and added to the humor of it all.

There’s no foul language or sex. The romance is clean and sweet. There’s magic, and some minor violence. There are no references to faith or God.

The perfect ending!!

Ok, the romance never got to where I wanted it but the story evolved into something amazing.

If your looking for hot steamy scenes and love triangles and all that hair pulling romance this is not the book to read.

Here you’ll have action, drama, suspense and even a touch of romance. You will laugh, cry and even find yourself wanting to punch something.

The way this story unfolded, the world, and they characters it’s just perfect. I feel like I saw a movie with intercut scenes.

I love that it kept me guessing and even though I wanted more romance and maybe a little bit of a steamy scenes I find that in the end it was just amazing.

Another Winner

I love KM Shea’s books and was excited when they started getting released in audiobooks. This is the final book in the trilogy and it is an amazing read but I recommend listening to the magiford trilogies in order to truly experience the world. I also thought that Kira Fixx and Adam Verner did an amazing job bringing this trilogy to life!

Pip is a lot but still...

I really enjoyed Pip and Graysons story. It's not often werewolves are portrayed in a light, fun way and I found it greatly lessened my dislike of wolf shifters overall. I've heard several times that Pip is a hard character to like. Her insecurities are numerous and stated OFTEN. So often that my brain decided she has to be neurodivergent in some way. Maybe she's ADHD, maybe she's got a touch of the 'tism, idk but when viewed that way instead of through a neurotypical lense she and her thought processes are easier to digest.

Self-loathing in the way BUT

I’ve fully enjoyed the trilogy, a long run to the satisfying conclusion. I wouldn’t have had it any other way.

Love these books!!!

K.M. Shea has yet to disappoint. This is one of her series set in the urban fantasy world of Magiford. I would begin with the Hall of Blood and Mercy series. But you could easily begin with the first of this trilogy, Hunted. These books have action, adventure, family and romance. In this story, Pip discovers the “family” that she has had all along, discovers that she has only to let them in. A wonderful end to an exciting series.
