Publisher's summary

Freedom, liberty, and independence are lost.

This action-packed fourth installment in The Boston Brahmin series depicts how the government uses crises to take away the freedoms of its citizens. False Flag explores the following questions:

What happens when our soldiers are ordered to fire upon American citizens? Do they follow the directives of the Martial Law Declaration? How can The Loyal Nine and like-minded Americans fight back to restore the Republic?

False flag ('fols 'flag): An operation designed to deceive in such a way that events appear as though they are being carried out by perpetrators other than those who actually planned and executed them. A false flag is used as an ideological weapon to control the citizenry with the fear of a manufactured enemy.

The Boston Brahmin Series continues as America is thrust into a post-apocalyptic world. Within days of a devastating cyber-attack upon America's critical infrastructure, the economy is in shambles and society is sinking into the abyss.

Facts begin to surface. Speculation begins to run rampant. Questions are raised. The central issue is "Who is responsible for the greatest attack upon a nation in history?" Will the resulting collapse of America distract The Loyal Nine from seeking answers? Will a new threat emerge to the nation, one which rears its ugly head from an unexpected location?

As usual Bobby delivers another well rounded addition to the series. The character development continues as new antagonist are introduced. The story has all the twist and turns you have come to expect.

Forget Netflix binge watch....

I am so invested in the lives of the loyal nine in False Flag, book 4 of 7. The author has written, like all great authors, in a way that allows you to read this book independently of the others in the series but you are rewarded with richness in story by having been along the journey with these characters. I find myself getting lost in the story and forgetting it’s not real life. Gotta go download book 5, The Mechanics, right now. Sarge has just been passed the baton and tensions are still rising with the neighbors outside the compound.

Excellent!

Another great installment in the series. As with the previous 3 this kept me engaged in both the multiple subplots as well as the primary journey of the core group. Well done Mr. Akart!

Love this series

Just when I think the series can’t get any better, this book proves me wrong. The tensions and action increase, and more twists are thrown in. My opinion of Morgan has been fluid throughout the series, and False Flag has me questioning my thoughts and feelings about his once again. I love Sarge and am enjoying seeing him live up to the task of uniting people and leading his group.

Joseph Morton does an excellent job narrating. The different voices he uses really helps me differentiate between characters, and his female voices are fantastic. (Some men just don’t do that well with them, but Mr. Morton nails the pitch and dialect.) I’m happy that he has continued narration of this series. Great performance.
