Beautiful heart-felt story
What a beautiful story! The author explains in the beginning that while it is fiction, a lot of the events were pulled from real life experiences. Many of the characters are based on real people, and it made the entire experience feel so much more authentic.
My heart broke over the horrible family she came from that wouldn’t leave her alone while singing for the hope that was on the horizon. I also loved the way Jesus continually spoke to her and comforted her before she even knew who he was.
This story is a gift
The narration was spot on. She sounded how I would imagine Rose sounding, and it made it a very easy listen.
