Publisher's summary

USA Today best-selling author Alicia Hunter Pace launches a brand-new sports romance series, Nashville Sound, featuring some fan favorites finding true love.

Emile Giroux has vowed he will be everything his stepfather is not: cultured, charming, sophisticated, and - above all else - a rich, successful NHL star. One of the top goalies in the league, the French Canadian strives for more, still haunted by his troubled childhood.

Amy Callahan was a freelance professional organizer until an ambitious, domineering boyfriend took over her life and cleaned out her bank account. Once indispensable to the stars, Amy now finds herself with no money, no house, no phone, and nowhere to go.

When Emile finds Amy literally kicked to the curb, he seizes his latest chance to rescue a damsel in distress - only Amy doesn’t want to play that game. In fact, she’s determined to put men on ice in her life permanently. Can they find a way to let love win?

Sensuality level: sensual.

Yummy...Yummy!!!! 💓💓

This is such a wonderful book. And Andrew Eiden aka Teddy Hamilton was awesome, as usual. Great series so far. I'm ready to skip to Thor's story (lol) but I won't. On to Book 2. If you like more heavy angst and hotness then you might not like. But This is a sweet, funny, and romantic love story with the typical HEA. I like listening to these type books sometimes. Emile with his french accent was refreshing. Great narration by Andrew and thanks to the author.

A talented writer! Can’t wait to read more!

This is a great slow-burn story, written very well; no redundancy, no “Overexplaining,” and the story moves along nicely. The only reason the performance is not a five, is that I’d have liked to hear a m/f performance, but Andrew Eiden has a great voice!

Adorable!

This is a warm and delightful story of a Prince Charming in a goalie mask and a Cinderella with a purse full of multi-colored pens. There's even a somewhat grizzled fairy godmother, with mystical powers of intuition and empathy. Cinderella's suddenly penniless, deserted by the man she hoped to marry, alone with no one to turn to. The prince, complete with a delicious French-Canadian accent, takes her in and helps her start to get back on her feet.

Naturally, romance ensues!

I adored this story; the characters were charming, the hockey environment was realistic, and the plot was sweet without being cloying. And if you don't fall in love with Emile you're made of much tougher stuff than I am! The conflict was a bit contrived, imo, but it worked fine.

I've read quite a few sports romances over the last year or so, and this is one of my favorites so far. I am very much looking forward to more books in this series, as there were many members of the hockey team that deserve stories of their own. The narration by Andrew Eiden (aka Teddy Hamilton) was wonderful, it's the best I've heard from him so far. I do not speak French, but the French passages were very smooth and authentic sounding, and Eiden's English language passages were heartfelt and very conversational. This is not a traditional dual POV book, nothing is in first person. The entire book is written in third person with a great deal of inner dialogue from our two main characters. This is my preferred reading format, so it worked beautifully for me.

If you're looking for a lovely, sexy romance, with a heroine who does some growing up, a hero who learns to listen, complete with an HEA, here's your next listen!

Well I didn’t know he could do French

So this book was cute, but it has the most rushed ending I’ve ever encountered. Like what?! Move, fight, brawl, engaged? Eh whatever it is cute... I just felt like it came out of nowhere. I guess I just can’t take books where the hero and heroine go from strangers to engaged in 2 weeks like you don’t have to end a book with a giant engagement ring.... but I enjoyed it quite a bit.

It isn’t insta love but it was close. Emile was a fantastic character. He’s adorable and beautifully brought to life by Andrew Eiden. I never knew he could do a ridiculously good French accent. I think I want all of his books done in a French accent forever more.

I’m kinda intrigued by the rest of the team but I don’t know if I will continue. I’m assuming swifty and thor will have books and they seem interesting enough. I love hockey books/series but there wasn’t a ton of team interactions but it is just the first book.
