What a great strart!

I am very picky when it comes to my romance books. Let me tell you, this book started off sooo good, I couldn't put it down. Action from chapter 2 and non stop til the end. So great. The narration was also so good. I loved the Cajin voice for Jack. Jack as a character is so strong, but the Cajin voice Lexi uses really brings Jack to life. I love how this book kept me guessing til the very end, and then Wamp! Such a surprise on who the stalker was....
Any book that engrose you from chapter 1 and make you want to skip to the end just to see what happens, but make you realize you can't skip because you don't want to miss nothing, is a really good read/listen. This book kept me entertained the entire time, so much so by the time I got to chapter 3 I bought the next one in the series. This is a all nighter book, because once you start listening you won't put it down...

I just enojy audible books and I get through them faster than reading.

What does Lexi Maynard bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I enjoyed her narrating but I did not like the voices of the male characters.

Hottest book ever

This has to be one of my absolute favorite erotic books. This was so sexily hot you need a fan to read it. Interesting storyline with some intrigue. I can’t recommend this enough. Sometimes the D/s type men are just too pushy but not this one.

Good first book in the series

I liked how the story makes you think one person is the villain but it kept me guessing it could be others.

Narrator was really bad. Story ok

The story was ok but the narrator did a terrible job on Jack’s voice. If female narrators can’t do a good job on a man’s voice, I don’t understand why they don’t get 2 narrators. Just sad.

OMG, hot with a plot!

I usually do the romance thing...but after 50, and then bared to you I was curious, so since there is a category for Erotica why not try it. I REALLY was not disappointed! I was very concerned that this book would be some weak plotted porno like novel, but the characters had structure and depth, there WAS a plot, and I have to say it was even a plausible plot...you could feel the characters indecision, feel their angst...it was a good book, and a steamy one. I was also scared by the idea of an accent being used in the book...but the narrator did a great job! All the characters voices were very clear, and discernible. Overall I have to say this is a really good book IF you want to read something steamy about a Dom and a possible Sub, if you are looking for erotic light…probably not the book for you.

Narration was off.

I kept thinking "I know that voice! Who is it?" Then it came to me. She sounds just like Paula Abdul. So imagine her narrating a hot, steamy book about, well... Then imagine her trying to do a male voice. Just doesn't fit, does it? Now you get what I'm saying?

good hot series

Ms Black knows how to make the secondary male hero come to life. She makes Dyke so sweet yet very masculine so you want to order the next book.
This series is for serious romantics. enjoy

Very good and very hot

Shayla Black sure does not disappoint in the hotness in her books. I liked the mystery stalker aspect of this book and the male characters were likable. The main female character got on my nerves a little but not so bad as it overshadowed the enjoyment story.
