Sophie Grates has never had it easy, but she's finding her way through life one step and one day at a time. That is, Until Nico comes in and flips her world upside down. He forces her to see that she cannot live life from the outside looking in and that sometimes you have to step out onto the ledge so you can really enjoy the view.
Nico Mayson knew the moment he saw Sophie Grates that she was the one. His whole life, he has been judged by what's on the outside, so finding a beautiful woman who sees the real him only makes his feelings that much stronger. Nico knows the kind of man he is and the things he is capable of, but he also knows that everything in life worth having is worth fighting for.

I am an avid reader, not a professional book reviewer. I gladly offer my opinion of the books I read/listen to.
This is a fast paced love story that I throughly enjoyed. Nicco and Sophie are cute together although her mental health issues seemed a little more serious than depicted in the story. Despite that flaw ... this story was a feel good love story that is a great summer/beach read. I think its credit worthy or sale worthy.
The best for last. All the Mason brothers is hooked now. Anyway, I really enjoyed this one. Just like all the other ones but then this is my favorite...hmm..or maybe a close tied with the first, Until November.
Nico is definitely an alpha male: tall, well-built, strong willed, and also tatted up. You couldn't help but fall a little in love with Nico a little more each chapter with his strong but sweet demeanor.
The story was good, moved forward without a lot of unnecessary angst. My only complaint of the book was that it was a little obvious who the villain was early on and a little annoying that Sophie kept that information from Nico; however this didn't take away from the story. Other than that, the story and Nico kept me engaged for the whole book. I loved the role Nico's awesome family played in Nico and Sophie's story.
The narrators Roger Wayne and Saskia Maarleveld did a great job with the narration. I liked the interpretation of both characters.
I enjoyed the story line and series. the narror ation was good I still have a problem with the female doing male voices. I get a picture in my mind how the male should look and goes along with the male narrator. then the female runes it with her voice trying to do a male voice. I wish this was a real dual narration. when each reads male voices for male and female for female. I would have enjoyed it a lot more. still good for a credit.
Despite the unlikely pairing of the wild man and repressed woman, I enjoyed this story. The characters were unusual and unexpected. I thought the story line was strong and carried more emotional depth than many romances.
I loved this story! It was nice to see how patient Nico was with Sophie in the beginning, but I love how he laid it out after he felt it was time. I'm also excited to hear more about the next generation and their "BOOM!"😊
