Not that erotic
The narrator did not capture the essence of an urban setting. I was completely bored with the story. The men seems old as dirt and the women young and immature. Stopped listening after an hour. Might have been a good story with a different narrator.

Don't Think I can finish It!!!
What disappointed you about The Hitman's Woman?
The narrator is so hard to listen to. Absolutely the wrong choice for a book like this. She sounds like a 16 yr old on her first job. In checking other titles she's narrated...I was right..this is her first.
The storyline itself is pretty good..so far, it makes me want to keep going to find the outcome, but the combination of the narrator and the writer's choice of certain words keeps you from getting into it. These are criminals - gansters in an urban metropolitan city and the language is that of kids. As a an "Erotic Thriller", you certainly don't expect to hear the clinical words used for sexual body parts...this making the "steamy" sex scenes unbearable....that mixed with the 16 yr old reading it makes me give it 1 star.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Couldn't really get that far into it.
How could the performance have been better?
A narrator with experience reading these types of books.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disgust! I want my credit back.
Any additional comments?
Save your credit. Get the paperback so you don't have to listen to a kid read it to you.

This Book is Terrible!
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
A High School Jr. or Sr.
Has The Hitman's Woman turned you off from other books in this genre?
I will read other books in this genre, but definitely not by this author
How did the narrator detract from the book?
She sounds like a little girl talking dirty.
What character would you cut from The Hitman's Woman?
All of them. There is no character development and most of the characters are not believable. The women characters (including the female FBI agent) are ditzy, have no personalities and have no interests beyond having sex and finding a man who can take care them. The gangsters in the book are laughable (i.e. World Dumbest Criminals). There is very little variety in the sex scenes (regardless of the participants). Like Diane, I'm trying very hard to finish.... Don't know if I will.
Any additional comments?
I should have read the comments instead of just looking @ the stars. Appears the rating was based on one review. If you like to be mentally stimulated and challenged when you read a "Thriller".....do not waste your credits/money on this book
