Ms. Langola's narration draws you even further into the story. Her tone, pacing and expressiveness keeps you wanting more.

When Elliana first appears at the ball. She sounds absolutely stunning!

When Dorian finally arrives at Elliana's house and has her step sisters try on the slipper. When that doesn't work out and Elliana appears ... best scene in the book!

At just over an hour, this is a book that is ideal to listen to in one sitting. The story flows well and you just want to see what happens next.

The Glass Slipper is an adult retelling of the classic story of Cinderella. We first meet the king and his brothers and find out that the King needs to marry or his brothers will be cut out of the family fortunes. In order to find a wife, the King throws a ball where all the eligible women are to attend. Elliana watches her step sisters leaving for the ball and is happy to just have the house to herself for the night. A fairy godmother sees that Elliana should go to the ball also and transforms her into the mysterious Lady Mask. Once at the ball, Elliana attracts the Kings attention and she has a night that she won't forget. The King can't forget it either and searches the land for his Lady. Will he find her?

Ms. Bayle has written and new and unique spin on the fairy tale Cinderella. She brings it into the erotic world showing a new side to this classic. Ms. Langola has certainly found her genre with narrating adult/erotic stories. I will be on the look out for more of both of these talented ladies' works.

Cinderella Meet Elliana-Your Erotic Self

This is the modern and very adult version of Cinderella. Actually, I would call it VERY LOOSLY' based on the fairy tale because it is so short. The author didn't have any time to commit to the details of the original. That is not a bad thing, it hits the high points – does it ever?!

Dorian is king. He is under extreme pressure from his mother to get married. His mother decides that a ball for all the eligible ladies in the kingdom is the best way for him to go about choosing his bride (sound familiar)

Meanwhile, Elliana lives with her abusive step-family. As the story goes, on the night of the ball the kingdom's 'Hag' shows up at Elliana's. She offers her a night of the ball, a beautiful dress, glass slippers and transportation – until midnight.

When she arrives and Dorian sees her, he knows that she is the one. After a few dances he takes her outside for a little more than a stolen kiss … But alas the clock is ticking and she must escape and go back to her drudgery of life.

I've written a lot here but there is a lot more, as you probably guessed. How does it end? I'll never tell!

Lovely Lia Langola is a master performer when it comes to the sexy and forbidden. I always check the description before choosing a book by her because she IS THAT naughty! Of course, I always pick the book as well.


I was given this book in exchange for my review, this is a great little listen at just over one hour. I'm looking forward to the next based on Sleeping Beauty.

I did giggle a bit...and o one likes how Cinderella was treated in any telling..but she got her's for real in this one!!!

Lia is a great narrator, and this is a well written erotic tale of Cinderella...short and semi-sweet...A Hot Prince, A Beautiful servant girl...and sexy time! How could you not like this? It was not filthy, it was just the right amount of erotic to make you say OH YEAH!!! Loved it!!! Cant wait for the next one!!!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this to fans of erotica but not to anyone looking for a romance. It was sexual, sensual and suspenseful which kept me wanting more. Yes it is based on the story of Cinderella but very loosely. The story isn't brilliant but it keeps you listening and wanting more. Definitely for fans of erotica, the language is not what your nana would listen to.

When Dorian came with the glass slipper. The way they were eyeing each other was fantastic.

Don't expect a romantic love story. You will get lust and sex but not romance. I received a copy of this Audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
