Lame

The storyline is lame. The narrator's voices are awful. I'm not a prude at all, but the language is totally overboard. It's like the author is trying to too hard to use dirty words. Lots of the F word. Don't waste your money on this one.

Okay this book was not what I wanted it to be. It was extremely slow and drawn out in the beginning and so predictable through out.

I felt brain cells dying

I felt brain cells dying while I listened to this book. The main character was a simpering, empty-headed, selfish woman that I was supposed to care about but didn't at all. The best part of the book was the main character's sisters, at least there was more than one layer to them. The sex was fun at first, but it happened way too many times and was pretty much the same thing over and over again--which of course, is representative of real life, but not something I want to read about.

Too much family drama

This book wasn't at all what I was expecting. While it did explore the relationship between the main character and her husband with the husband's best friend added, it spent much more time on the family drama surrounding them.
The family drama would have been okay except that it was so depressing. It seems as if nobody in the book had a decent, happy life at all.
I was truly hoping that the author would delve into the relationship and feelings that unfolded as the three main characters began and continued their sexual relationship but I felt as if this was lacking. There was a particular grey area surrounding the relationship between James and Alex that I felt was never resolved and more exploration and information could have made the book much richer.
As others have said, I didn't feel much sympathy for James or Alex and found them both somewhat self-absorbed and unlikable.

This book was slow and boring. I have read other Megan Hart books and this is the worst! I expected a much better plot and content. I kept listening to this book hoping that it would eventually get better, but it only got worse. The one interesting point is the book was a confrontation between the main character and her mother in law, but you couldn't get the into it b/c the author spent too much time giving details and thoughts in the middle of it. The narrator was not great and I really didn't like her character voices. Not worth the credit IMHO.

what a waste of literary space. Biggest waste of time ever. The story literally went no where, didnt make any sense, and ended with no answers.
the menage scenes were awful, awkward at best, and the characters were genuinely stupid. seriously take this review to heart and save yourself some time.

It was a flat storyline, nothing exciting, she took an ordinary married couple and tried to make it interesting with adding another person, it didn't work for me.

Story of a spoilt self centered sad woman

I have listen/read all of Megan Hart books, and some of the dark undercurrents can be hard to get through, this is true, but this story had me yelling at the main character. She is nothing but a sad miserable, and make everyone else miserable self centered bitch. In her little mind she is the only one who is ever in the right or has sacraficed. I enjoyed the story of Alex and James, and poor James did everything for his pathetic wife and she was never ever satisfied. I say James, dump her sorry ass. The story is slow in many parts, I am glad that the story of Alex is enough to redeam this author for me.

Don't Bother....

What a waste! I should've paid more attention to the previous reviews. It was just trash about 3 friends sleeping together...horrible!!!
