My husband, James. The house on the lake. My life. Our perfect life. And then Alex came to visit.
The first time I saw my husband's best friend, I didn't like him. Didn't like how James changed when he was around, didn't like how his penetrating eyes followed me everywhere.
But that didn't stop me from wanting him. And, surprisingly, James didn't seem to mind.
It was meant to be fun. Something the three of us shared for those hot summer weeks Alex stayed with us. Nobody was supposed to fall in or out of love. I didn't need another man, not even one who oozed sex like honey and knew all the secrets I didn't know, the secrets my husband hadn't shared. After all, we had a perfect life. And I loved my husband.
But I wasn't the only one.

A good listen on long subway rides! The narrator did a great job with the female characters, but her impression of Alex left me scratching my head. Still, it's an enjoyable read and a good title to pick up if you're into romance novels.
This was my first audible book and I really enjoyed it. There were many steamy scenes, but with some added humor and some serious issues as well. Megan Hart kept my attention with her characters and the progression of the story. I will definitely listen to more from her.
I had mixed feelings about this book when I finished it, but all and all I liked it. It just left me feeling that their has to be more to the story between the husband and his best friend. The grey area between them left me wondering. I wish that part of the story would have been more developed.
Thought read something light and romantic for a change. After 1 hour of the most vulgar and crass dialog I had ever experienced, I deleted this book. If there's a story to it, I never got there. Just a waste of money and time.
