erotic, spiritual, physical pleasure all in one

Of all of the erotica collection on audible.com, I like this one the best. It's a refreshing cross between 21 Nights and the Suzie Brights. Yet, it also has adventure, and travel; and, the depth of the spiritual side of passion. It is also like a "self-improvement" manual for couples who find themselves lost in the boredome of a "nowhere" relationship. The author, Pavitra, is truly a "goddess of love", and she has found the path to erotic excitement with spiritual meaning, way beyond what you expect from the usual "erotica" scene. (I also just love it when the author reads her own work).

Impeccable it's not

A warning to anyone seriously interested in the place of sexuality in spritual life: you'll learn precious little from this badly-written work. If you want to indulge in some sexual fantasy, it'll probably suffice, in spite of the cliches. It's success will have more to do with your imagination than the writing. (By the way, Pavitra, the male member doesn't have muscles! It's purely blood that does the job!)

interesting, but...

Even though the beginning was catching, it soon faded into monotony and failed to catch my attention. The original idea of relating sex encounters to the chakras and spiritual development sounded great, but it was so underachieved that I didn't even finished it.

The opening took me by surprise. It was very explicit in a good way.

The narrator's accent brings a different, somewhat exotic dimension to the story.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, you will want to savor this one, but unfortunately the end is not as rich as the beginning and middle.

Looking to Learn

Did not enjoy this book at all! I was prepared to learn about the awakening and blending of chakra energy with sexual energy for growth and being set on the path to find your beloved. No, not the case at all. The racist overtones of the book were very hard to take, so I finally turned it off, very disappointed that I had wasted an audiobook credit in this way. Not really interested in the author's sexploitations...

Journey

This is a must read for those who are on a journey to a achieve a higher level of self- enlightenment/awareness. I am not a guru of any sort - a professional who seeks to find out more about myself in this lifetime. I believe that in order to really connect with the author, one should have already experienced or are on a journey "in connecting the spiritual and the physical and all the pieces in between". I found it a big help to have an understanding of the chakras and energy work (meditation, yoga, etc.) If I didn't have these experience, for me,I would not have been able to make the connection with the author. The title maybe misleading for some. I would advise you to listen again and this time don't expect anything - pause and make notes and try to really understand what is being presented - you might just find some enlightening words that may explain a lot about past and current relationships. Although this is categorized as fiction, for those who are making the connection are aware of the truths presented.

Soulless Sex

This work is filled with trite, stereotyped characters and sex scenes, lightweight, cliche-ridden treatment of Hindu philosophy, and egregious use of the word WOW! That being said, no one can accuse the author of having an unimaginative fantasy life. This book is a hardcore, formulaic melange of the erotic components of innumerable Harlequin romances underpinned by Eastern Mysticism. It will appeal to bored housewives (Cliche intended) and horny teenage boys...

Don't waste your money or book credits!

Not worth one star

Woman has unprotected sex with strangers... a lot. Woman writes book. Woman forgets to use thesaurus and uses high school vocabulary. Woman mentions something about the chakras but teaches nothing about them or how they relate sexually.

This book is nothing but the author's bragadocious sexcapades under the guise of 'soul sex.' Save your money and your book credits and read a high school kid's diary instead.
