Buying Mistake
I'm a heterosexual female, so my point of view of this book may be slanted. I have very specific taste--like everyone, I guess-when I listen to gay erotica. And this book didn't meet my expectations. The type of rawness of these many stories didn't work for me. There's no romance, with the exception of maybe one story near the end of the book. And the encounters were so fast that I got very little out of them in the erotic since. Erotica for me doesn't have to be wam-bam-thank-you-mam, or sir, as it were. And the continuing theme of hyper-attention to body odors and scents is not a turn on for me but, instead, a turn off. I'm torn about the narrator. I don't think any narrator could've helped the book for me, but it's hard for me to separate his work from the overall poor experience. But this book might work for you if just want to hear about one purely sexual encounter after another with the stinch of bodies being a point of high arousal.
