A serial killer is preying upon gay men in Los Angeles. Detective Cassidy Ryan of the LAPD is out to stop the monster before more mutilated corpses turn up. The victims have one thing in common and it leads back to an infamous online club called DOMZ.com. The website owner, Zachary Teak, is stunningly gorgeous and infuriatingly uncooperative. Having spent years in vice, investigating crimes fueled by pornography, Cassidy hates the Dom on sight.
Zack Teak is a wealthy man and a popular Dom with a long waiting list of subs who beg to lick his boots. The moment he meets the detective, a former Navy SEAL, he is determined to help the handsome, blond hunk explore his own submissive nature but Cassidy is having none of it.
As Cassidy closes in on the killer, he succumbs to Teak's charms, finding that it's okay to give up control and let Zack take charge. Join the men as they flush out a killer while trying not to become victims themselves.

This was my first Patricia Logan book! I was impressed! There was enough gore and enough smoking hot sex to keep me entertained. I really enjoyed reading this book but hearing Peter Brooke narrate it made it even better! Sizzling hot!
Cassidy Ryan is a detective who gets called in to investigate these gruesome murders from a sadistic serial killer. Each kill gets more brutal.
The common denominator with the victims is the company DOMZ.COM owned and operated by Sexy Dom Zach Teak. When Cassidy has to go interview Zack, he is blown away by the chemistry and attraction he has for someone in a lifestyle he does not approve of.
But if you've never tried it....how do you know? Can he catch this killer before too many more victims show up and will his new found feelings get in the way and head him for heartbreak?
Patricia Logan knows how to write a good storyline, but when she enters the world of erotica, readers know why she has been crowned The Queen of BDSM - she reigns supremely but with a firm hand (lol)! Mix this up with a narrator's voice that just oozes liquid sex and leaves you wet in all the right places, then you know that you are onto a 5* winner all the way and that is exactly what this author delivered. I've read the book so many times, I've lost count and now she's introduced me to the wonderful world of audio and I may never recover. This book should definitely carry a public health warning - DO NOT READ IN PUBLIC AS MASS SEXUAL HYSTERIA MAY ENSUE! I strongly suggest that you listen to this in the privacy of your own home - you have been warned!
HOT, thrilling, great
The interaction between Zack and Cass and the thrilling story.
I don't know. He did a fair job. The voice he gave Zack seemed girly. I thought it should have been deeper and more authoritative!!
Patricia Logan is a fantastic author and I love her books!!
The premise of the story was very interesting to me...hot gay cop investigating brutal murders is led to a suspect and it's instant attraction. Cop is torn between his work and the new man he is extremely interested in and the BDSM lifestyle he is participates in as a Dom. Of course, the cop has no idea he's a sub and the story moves forward from there. There wasn't a huge mystery in solving the cases and it wasn't some long drawn out production, which suits me just fine. I like that the story's focus was surrounding the relationship.
I do have to say that the narration was just ok for me and there was a few voices that I thought were just ridiculous. Overall, a good story and Patricia Logan has the next book in the series coming out real soon!
This is my first so number one
BDSM and the author's style of writing
Patricia Logan is one of my favorite authors. She brings stories with intense dark, and wonderfully written characters. Silver Ties is the third book in the Silver Series and should be read in order for best enjoyment.
I will admit this is my first review of an audio book. I love the story, Ms Logan is amazing. Both men are intense, alpha and well written. I love how vibrant the characters are, and how bdsm is put into the story to make it more intense. I really love how Ms. Logan does that. She always makes me fall in love with both her men. I really feel this series should be read in order. I really think that if you like audio books you will LOVE the reader to this one. He is very into his reading, he has great variety of tones of his voice and he keeps a great pace, I felt like I was in the story with him.
The only problem I had with the audio, I felt the voice made master Z come off as more a jerk. I know when I read the story myself I didn’t feel that way. So perhaps the tone of the voice? But overall the voice is calm and very clear. I think someone who loves audio books will really like this one. It is action packed, intense and well done. I think if you love suspense and bdsm this is a must read.
Five Shooting Stars
i absolutely love this narrator (and that's high praise from me). his various pitches, accents and inflections made listening to the multitude of characters easier to follow and made listening to the story much more interesting. i typically do not like audiobooks partially because i'm very 'nit picky' when it comes to the narration. i definitely would recommend this listening to any book mr. brooke narrates.
as for the story, i'm not a huge fan of bdsm so this possibly could have been a 5 star read for someone who does like it. when we first meet cassidy he appears to have a dominant personality which zeke finds to be a personal challenge. zeke thinks under cassidy's tough facade he really wants to be submissive. their chemistry is explosive right from the beginning as are their personality clashes. because this story focuses primarily on the D/s piece of the story, it is easy to overlook any technical issues a reader might have with the murder investigation.
overall this is definitely a book i would recommend to fans of the bdsm world.
I don't know what to say except that it was just so unbelievably bad all around
The narrator choice for the voice of Zach was disappointing. I have listen to other books by him, Frathouse Troopers, and he was very good. The story was ok but lacked emotion. And Ms. Logan needs to brush up on her police procedures. I am going to give another one of her books a try though.
