Publisher's summary

As women everywhere will attest, when it comes to understanding female sexuality, most guys know more about what's under the hood of a car than under the hood of a clitoris. And while it seems that men have struggled valiantly since the dawn of time to find ways to reliably elicit the female orgasm, rare is the guy who has the modesty to ask: "What do I do?" Ironically, the answer has always been right there on the tip of his tongue.

Welcome to the world of She Comes First, where the mystery of female satisfaction is solved and the tongue is proven mightier than the sword. According to Ian Kerner, clinical sexologist and evangelist of the female orgasm, oral sex has long been deemed an optional aspect of foreplay, but, in fact, it's coreplay: simply the best way for leading a woman through the entire process of sexual response.

Fun, informative, and easy to read, She Comes First is a virtual encyclopedia of female pleasure, detailing dozens of tried-and-true techniques for consistently satisfying a woman and step-by-step instructions to ensure success. These simple methods represent a new era in sexual intimacy, one in which the exchange of pleasure occurs on a level playing field and fulfillment is mutual.

She Comes First exuberantly offers a fresh new sexual philosophy that inspires every man to make a mantra of Rhett Butler's infamous line to Scarlett O'Hara, "You should be kissed, and often, and by someone who knows how."

For Adults Only: You must be 18 years or older to purchase.

Don't leave your sex life to chance

Super educational and informative, even for a woman. Can't wait to test this out with my husband...

Good stuff

There is little doubt that the author knows what he's talking about, and he is disarming at admitting his own shortcomings until he discovered cunnilingus. His advice is detailed and supported by anatomical descriptions. The book is considerably too long, and repetitive in places; it would have worked better as a long article. But it is the best available. My only reason for downgrading was these style issues; as to content it is excellent. In the second edition he should get a female co-author to supplement his (admittedly) second-hand descriptions of how it all feels to the woman.

Eye opening

My friend recommended this book to me several years ago. I finally listened to it. It completely gave me a new outlook on how to please my wife. My wife has told me that the techniques I apply have really elevated here overall sexual experience and bettered her climax.

Interesting content, poorly presented.

An author narrating his own book is almost always a bad idea and this book is no exception. This book would have greatly benefited from a professional reader. Additionally, while it contained a fair amount of useful and interesting content, the author’s use of language was stilted and his injection of quirky humor, including chapter headings like “Raindrops keep falling on my head”, seemed inappropriate and made it a less than optimal listening experience.

Become a cunnilinguist

Great for giving to a partner who wants to improve their oral sex skills on vulvas or if you have a vulva to learn about your body. The narrator (the author) has a really monotone voice, but it really is worth listening to.

Más o menos

No me gustaron las metáforas que usa, muchas instrucciones y la voz no es muy agradable.

Great Book

This book is great. It help me understand the anatomy of the body. It teaches technique and suggestions. And it helps its readers to understand the woman's perspective.

Informative even for women

I choose this book mostly because I was curious about what the author was going to say. I was surprised to realize I actually knew very little about my own “parts” or the process of arousal itself.
The narrator’s voice was both the best and the worst thing about listening to this book versus reading it. The tone and inflections he choose ensured it felt much more academic than voyeuristic - but the tone and the inflections...man.
I’d still recommend it. I learned a lot.
