Serena Kelley is an archaeologist and treasure hunter - and a woman with a secret. Since she was seven, she’s been a keeper of a powerful charm that grants her health and immortality . . . as long as she stays a virgin. But Serena isn’t all that innocent. And when a dangerously handsome stranger brings her to the brink of ecstasy, she wonders if she’s finally met the one man she cannot resist.
Wraith is a Seminus demon with a death wish. But when an old enemy poisons him, he must find Serena and persuade her to give him the only known antidote in the universe - her charm. Yet, as she begins to surrender to his seductions and Wraith senses the cure is within his grasp, he realises a horrible truth: he’s falling for the woman whose life he must take in order to save his own.

This narrator sounds a bit like Dolly Parton with a deep voice and every now and then a male character sounds like Millhouse from the Simpsons which made for some funny visuals at times. I liked the story but I wanted more smart 'Indiana Jones' type action in this one and less focus on sex and romance (I know I couldn't believe it myself)... My interest is waning on this series.
Hot romance/Sci Fi we're so lucky to have Audible to feed our book addictions. I love walking my precious dog Sydney & listening to my books
Once again another excellent story. The entire series so far has been addictive and exciting. All the narrators have been extremely good with voices that sound perfect for the stories told. On to the next book. YA :)
"The proverbial hero, protectecting his lady."
The proverbial hero, ensuring the girl is protected from all, including himself. Even though it would be the end of his world, he fights demons, alliances and his own family attempting to ensure she is safe. The romance is additive, the storyline creative and the characters are wonderful. In fact there are so many it helps to have read the earlier books in this saga, to ensure you know who is who and how they fit into the complex but extremely interesting plot line. To have this book in audio made it even more exciting and enabled me to concentrate on the detail.
"OMG what a load of tosh ??"
I am so glad that I only listened to the second half of this book!!! I understood the ludicrous story in no time and so that saved a good few hours of my life!!!it was so silly and far fetched !!! There seemed to be bits added to make the story drag out.
that is easy, the beginning, middle and end!!
in her defence I did listen from half way but I did keep listening until it ended so there must have been something that kept me listen!!!
"on the off chance"
Saw this book and thought I would give it ago, never heard of them before. I have now become a fan and cant wait to get the next book as it has left me gripped for more stories. If you like the fifty shades books this it right up your street must say a little less runchy though but still a gripping story line.
