He thought it was the perfect crime. When Jack - a self-professed "bluebeard" and murderer of women - finally disposed of his obscenely rich wife, he thought he'd get away with it. He thought she would be just like all the others.
But he was wrong. Dead wrong.
Because unbeknownst to Jack, the specter of his now-deceased wife has risen from her unmarked grave: blood-spattered, brutalized, and ready for revenge. But that's not all she's after. This phantom isn't just out for vengeance. She also hungers for a little...erotic stimulation. Will Jack survive the experience?
Written in the style of a 19th-century gothic novel, Necromantic Encounter is guaranteed to titillate and terrify in equal measure!

I have read the book, and I loved the macabre nature of it. It's a horror erotica--horrorotica--of the finest calibre. You feel as though you shouldn't be aroused, but you are. It's gruesome and sexy all at once.
When Gretchen first came back and the narrator described how aroused and horrified he was.
Definitely! And I did.
I thought the narrator, Darrin Hornwood, did a fantastic job. He matched the voice of the protagonist perfectly, capturing that horrified yet aroused manner. As the title says, you feel like you shouldn't be aroused, but each detail is described in such a wonderful manner you almost feel as though you are experiencing the same horrified desire as the protagonist. Brilliant job all the way around.
Heck yeah. Because it was hot.
It was all pretty intense.
Jack was devilishly delicious.
As stated above it was all pretty intense.
Good voice work.
Good audio quality
The narrator did really good work -- especially when he got to the meat of the story which was where he revved things up twenty fold. This is a massive compliment as I don't usually like male erotica narrators.
