Book 2 of the in the Up In The Air trilogy.
James and Bianca's tumultuous story continues in the sequel to In Flight.
James has initiated Bianca into a dark and drugging world of passion and pain. He taught her about her own submissive, masochistic nature, and she fell swiftly and deeply in love with the undeniably charming and impossibly beautiful Mr. Cavendish, but a painful misunderstanding and the return of the brutally violent demons of her past have combined to overwhelm Bianca, and, confused and hurt, she pushes him away.
It's been over a month since the shocking attack that hospitalized her, and since she told a distraught James that she needed space, but her feelings haven't gone away. Even she knew that it was only a matter of time before he would cast his spell on her again...
This book is intended for ages 18 and up.

I've been an avid reader since I was a child. I love different types of writing styles and I am never afraid to try new authors.
I'm going to be the odd one on this review as I am no more in love with this one as I was on book 1. I don't want to spoil the book so I will say that I didn't find it realistic how you cut yourself off from someone then jump back in full force without talking things out. It felt like something a teenager would do.
Just didn't work for me.
Give me a Hot Sexy Book, with a good story to listen to, have that "OH MY" sigh, Love most of what I have, but want more. Tell me it ALL!
Well it ranks in the top 10 for me.. but here is the sad part.. Audible don't carry the 3rd book.. What kind of Hot Mess is that?
FSOG with a great story line
just these two books so far
Yes, a lot of them..
This book Book 2 picked right up where Book one left off.. Love when that happens. So.. Bianca recovering and she finally see's James, and they pick up with some understandings. However, in this book, I found that they went back and forth about who trust who the most or who is doing what on who. A lot of history is brought up when they should let it go. I mean I know she was a virgin, and not going to have much of a past, not like him, but she knows this..he tells her everything..she is hard on Mr. Beautiful I think.. But anyway, they find out a shocker thru this book and they are more in love than ever and you get ready to listen to book 3 and GUESS WHAT.. AUDIBLE DON'T HAVE BOOK 3. OMGOSH.. WELL GUESS I AM GOING TO GO BUY A BOOK TOMORROW, AUDIBLE NEEDS TO STOP DOING THIS TO US.. MAKES ME WANT TO JUST STOP WITH LISTENING TO BOOKS AND GO BACK TO READING AGAIN.i DO BOTH, AND THAT'S OK,, BUT DON'T ADVERTISE THIS SERIES AND THEN DON'T CARRY IT.
I love being swept away by a new romance and thankfully Audible's ever growing Library means I get to indulge myself over and over again
Oh what a loveable drool-worthy hero James is.... he's romantic, sexy, understanding, kind, generous and so so sorry for everything and wants to be forgiven and help Bianca who has brought love into his life. However, she needs space and time to heal but James is relentless, possessive, jealous, obsessed, worried and desperate for a second chance which she eventually gives him because their sexual chemistry is off the charts and she's missed the impossible, demanding, wonderful, beautiful man (can't blame her there).
Another gripping instalment that's full of emotional turmoil, angst, passion, a volcanic sweet romance, great secondary characters, secrets and way more BDSM hot sex scenes as well as touching tender ones too. It moves their volatile story along nicely and there are some really touching words said by James whose life and future is now in Bianca's hands.
Worth a credit? Enjoyable, emotional and a pleasure to witness this bitter-sweet romantic love story whether it's between a Dom and his Sub, a reformed Playboy and his gentle Stewardess or simply a man who's very much in love and grasping to keep hold of the love of his life. A very very creditworthy series.
the story was very flat to me I kept waiting for some great crisis to happen and nothing happened so I was a little disappointed with the overall story narration was great book was a little too long too many chapters not enough plot and story
Very feminine dialogue written in this book for Mr Beautiful (James). He is the one acting more like a woman and she wants to "act" hard to get and tough. Did not enjoy this book much at all. The BDSM gets a bet rougher but minus one scene the overall is still very light. A second potential suitor joins the story for Bianca in an attempt to sizzle the romance but although I found his character more interesting than James in this book, the story went from book 1, interesting, to book 2, unbelievable and seriously??? Stop at book one.
While listening to this ridiculous book, I rolled my eyes so much, that they almost got stuck in the back of my head! Everyone is "stunningly good looking", "exquisitely beautiful" but extremely shallow and conceited. It's a very disappointing story, a very bad copy of Fifty Shades of Grey.
The male character is "mercurial" just like Christian Grey (and yep, same word used to describe him), the heroine is constantly doubting herself, she's insecure and honestly she flies by the seat of her pants in this story. I just didn't feel the connection between the two main characters. She doesn't really love him, but because he's so persistent and obsessed with her, she goes with the flow. He is terribly wealthy, and "exquisitely beautiful" (she calls him Mr Beautiful) and hopelessly obsessed with Bianca, the flight attendant. I just didn't feel their love. It was all too forced and too quick. There was no reason for their insta love.
I just got really bored with the whole thing.
I find the main character a little hard to relate to. She seems a little too predictable. Also I'm not into the bdsm but that's my own hangup. Having said that, the story line is pretty good and the reader is fabulous. The cliffhangers in both books have left me wanting more. Without them, I'm not sure I would continue the story.
