I absolutely loved this series and on audiobook, it's even better...thanks to the narrator! Joshua is amazing! I can't stand when women narrators do male voices so this was realistic and HOT. I'd love to hear more from him and Payne!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

If you like wolf/shifter books, this series is perfect for you!
Lumen is the third book, after Alpha Awakened and Omega Rising and continues the story of the wolves and Jacob and Allison. And now there's Lumen....
As always Payne Hawthorne writes amazing sex scenes. I also love how she creates the scene and environment and the way each of the characters have distinct personalities.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Lumen?

Lumen is funny, sexy, memorable and sad, and it's a perfect ending to a great series.
I can't pick a favorite scene because I thoroughly enjoyed the entire story, but there's a between Lumen and Matt that's hot hot hot!

What does Joshua Story bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Joshua Story is a great storyteller, I love his voices and accents, he's perfect for these books and always easy to follow and understand.

I love the humor of Lumen! Although Allison and Jacob are still going at it, we have new entertainment in this book with Lumen and Matthew. Lumen constantly had me rolling! Once a wolf, she now takes human form and has to learn to act like one. Well, at least she is trying to... somewhat.

I love how the series was written. One gripes I have with some authors is introducing too many characters too quickly. Payne gradually introduced characters into the story line through the entire series. I hate having to try to keep of track of 20 characters in the first 10k words of a book. Another gripe I have is covers. Come on ladies, does every romance book have to have a guy with exposed abs on the cover for you to buy it? And you say men are shallow ... but I digress. Kudos to Payne for avoiding the formula cover crap on this one.

Great series and looking forward to more!

I love this series! I've read it already, but listening was even more fun. The narrator did a fab job and I loved his use of accents!

I have dogs so most of the behaviors depicted were right on from my perspective. I laughed out loud numerous times. I also got super turned on from the expertly written sex scenes.

I am really enjoying this new author/narrator combo. I've witnessed Payne's increased abilities as a writer and I can only think she will continue to get better and better. She is now a one-click for me. My only other one-click buys are Kresely Cole/Robert Petkoff, So way to go to this new unknown, (as of yet), author and narrator.

What did you love best about Lumen?

It would be easier to say what I didn't like! And that would be nothing. There isn't a thing about Lumen I didn't love

Who was your favorite character and why?

I still have to lean towards Jacob. Who doesn't want to have their own alpha male hunk taking charge!

Which character – as performed by Joshua Story – was your favorite?

I love Jacob. Joshua does his voice in such a sexy manner...makes your toes curl. Love a guy with an accent.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Without giving anything in the story away, I think the most moving was when Samantha and Iain told the family of their decision they made.

I love the fact that the pack is seeking other shifters. This opens the doors for so many future installments of the series. This episode showed more of the humour of the pack, especially through Lumen herself. She is comical in her new position. Loved this book, and really love the series. This is the perfect example of two very talented artists combining their gifts together and creating an awesome product in the end. Joshua Story, you rock! Payne, I love your imagination and where your mind brings us.

Love this new Shifter Series! Totally unique POV.

Me again, the author of this series. This is part three in my series. By the time I wrote this one I'd become much smoother at the execution of telling a story. I am also in love with all my characters and feel they are part of my life and I know them intimately. (I am working on part 4: Cain. Right this second!)

I've spent my life as an animal behaviorist and horse phycology expert, so writing about a wolf turned human was quite fun for me. Of course all the erotic/sex scenes are also my favorite topic. I know I might have gone a bit overboard with the naughty language, but I think it was appropriate given the character of Lumen.

This installment has a lot of emotion, sex, drama and also comedy. It will be over too quickly and I am sorry for that. I plan on continuing in the series and Joshua Story is onboard to narrate. Please also look for some of my other works on Kindle and the entire compilation of Dormant Desires under one title, Alpha Pack. (This compilation has a 6000 word preview of book 4.)

Ok,but a lot of duplication

These books have a lot of overlap. Good story line but this one is mostly overlap and only offers a little new information about Lumen. Disappointing from that standpoint.
