Knockin' Boots

This was a good story. A couple looks for a third person to make a connection with. I am glad that person was a man instead of a woman so the woman could have more fun. I found the characters very likeable. Logan McAllister did a very good job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Clint Gorman is trying to find peace, quiet and a haven from the havoc he has survived the past few years. He and his motorcycle have put many miles on the road. Then he rolls into Whistlen Creek, Texas. While buying a pair of boots he meets Dan Franklin, later Dans wife Kylie. Dan and Kylie are searching for a partner to complete them. Clint however much he wishes to be a part of their family is afraid he is to flawed, but fairytales can come true.
Warning this story does contain a ménage situation.

Short, Steamy and Sensual

It all started with a pair of boots. The last thing Clint expected when he stopped in the small, nondescript town to get a pair of boots, was to find his home. He definitely did not expect to find it with two strangers who felt like anything but. A pair of boots and a meal later and he was off to a night of some menage fun. In the morning he'd be off again on his quest for a place to call home. Things didn't quite work out that way though. A few hours and Clint found himself wishing things were different between himself and his new friends. Little did he know, his new friends were feeling the same way.

It was a quick, steamy listen. Although it was pretty short, I wasn't left feeling as if something was left out or missing. That's the mark of a good novella. I enjoyed the narration greatly. McAllister managed to pull off both male and female voices with different accents beautifully without a single hiccup.

Wish it was longer

I loved the story. The characters were likable and well developed for a short story. I didn’t really see the fairytale connection??
