Toni Peters rarely takes chances or tries new things, always sticking close to home and going along with the tried and the true—until her old schoolfriend, Jane Doyle, working at a hotel in Paris, France, calls and suggests they take a month-long tour of Europe, the vacation of shopping, sightseeing, and sunbathing they’ve always talked about but never got around to taking. When Toni arrives in Paris, however, she discovers Jane has quit her job and moved south to another hotel in Marseille. Toni goes to Marseille and checks all the hotels, but to no avail. Jane seems to have mysteriously disappeared off the planet—that is, until Toni receives an unsigned note telling her to be at Les Arbres in Cassis at noon the next day.Figuring the note is from Jane, Toni hops the bus to Cassis, but instead of finding her friend at Les Arbres, she finds ultra-sexy British cop Neil Trenton…and ends up getting kidnapped.

A two hour book should have more than an unbelievable first encounter and a flimsy story. These are supposed to be short and very sexy. Unfortunately the sex was not very good The storyline was boring as well. Save your money.
While the storyline is pretty good in this novel, it is hard to follow the characters due to the narration. The narrator has very little distinction between the voices of her characters, making it hard to determine which character is speaking. It is often times confusing as to what is going on in the story because you don't know which character is speaking. Additionally, some of the characters are British and the accent does not change into a British accent for those characters. I believe I would have enjoyed this book more if I had just read it.
I don't read the print versions
I have not, this was my first book of hers, though I enjoyed it very much.
This was a fun little romance with a nice plot. Not too much sex, though, but fun none the less.
