Here at In Bed, if someone describes you as having "a dirty mind", we call that a compliment. On today's show, Susie's guest, author Nicholson Baker, has been called that and much more. The New York Times even described him as the "mad scientist of smut". Susie and Nicholson talk about his steamy new book, House of Holes: A Book of Raunch. They discuss some of the book's outrageous scenes, which are filled with fantasy and wild pleasures: what happens when you wish you could give up your right arm to have a gigantically larger penis, for example? This book is hot, and it's a must read, says Susie.
Then, in our "Try This at Home" mailbag, Nicholson joins Susie in reading and answering this week's letter. They put their heads together to respond to a question from a male listener: "I like my online sex life better than my real one. Is this a problem?"

Mind you, I've only been a subscriber for a couple of months, and all the shows I've listened to have been great, but this was is even greater than usual. If you ever feel like going to a two-host format, here's the guy, Nick Baker! Loved the Mailbag banter, especially. The whole mailbag appeal is voyeuristic appeal of other people's Soap Operas and there is a whole other level of enjoyment when you're discussing the Soap Opera de jour with someone who I can voyeuristically imagine is me.
Anyway, keep up the good work!
