Polyamory can be so ho-hum. Susie starts with the story of a suburban grandmother who is completely unfazed by her daughter's alternative lifestyle. That story falls squarely in the category of ones Susie would like to see more of. In the opposite corner, in the category of stories Susie would like to see less of, is Kurt Eichenwald's recent investigative piece in the New York Times
entitled, "Through His Webcam, a Boy Joins a Sordid Online World." Susie says the problem with these stories is the create fear and titillation instead of arming veryone with real facts about who and what's at risk in the "scary" world of the Internet. Then, in the Try This at Home
mailbag, Susie hears from an 18 year old woman who is very afraid she's going to turn out to be one of those
non-orgasmic women she's read so much about. Don't forget, you can send your confidential questions and feedback about the show to email@example.com. (Episode 233, January 20, 2006)
