My name is Dominic Powers. My software engineering company, DPS, is one of the top 500 companies in the world. Conducting a search for my personal assistant brought an unexpected candidate straight to me. I knew she was different as soon as she walked into my high-rise office. She exuded innocence and inexperience. Those are two things in a woman that normally don't attract me, but I am apparently making an exception for her. She's young and delicate - and I'm afraid she won't make it in my world. But the carnal man I've kept hidden deep inside me says I have to try. She is my Sophia Vasco. I am her Dom.

the female character had no back bone. she would cry at the drop of a hat over the most ridicules things. The female narrator was horribly whiny and her audio recording was terrible. thankfully 75% of this book was performed by the male narrator. His recording was clear and crisp. his voice played well into the dom role.
Dominic Powers is CEO of his own software company. When Sophie walked into Dominic's office for a interview to be his assistant. He couldn't believe the spark he felt towards her, and he had to fight to not show her his true self.
I found this audiobook to be very engaging. Loved listening to it.
Passionate and spicy, I loved how the author brought her characters together. I would have loved it even more If the heroine was stronger, but I still enjoyed this. Pure fantasy for the audience.
Too busy to read as much as I'd like, Audible is the perfect solution. I'm a romance reader mostly, but can stray into any story.
This is not your average dom/sub story. There's so much more going on with mystery and intrigue and a budding romance. Without giving away spoilers, this does end in a cliffhanger that will leave you desperate for book 2.
I was a little disappointed with Rita Rush, I felt like her narration was forced but Robert Coltrane did a fantastic job. This is "duet" narration, which isn't my favorite in the first place but there was not much that could have ruined this story for me. I was sucked in and now I can hardly wait to start book 2.
Worth a credit? Definitely
