Publisher's summary

She couldn't believe her eyes.

Stressed out ad-exec Dakota wandered into Catamount Outfitters in search of a guide for a wilderness excursion. She didn't expect to be greeted by not one but five of the most ruggedly delicious-looking men she'd ever seen... not to mention a live cougar guarding the shop!

The Falke brothers have more than just good looks in their genes.

Eldest brother Axel agreed to guide Dakota on her mountain trek. In cougar form, Axel's twin, Gunnar, was there as a protection from predators - but he had his eye on the sexy client instead.

Into the wild....

While the rule with clients was "paws-off", both Axel and Gunnar couldn't resist Dakota's seductive Native American beauty and determination. As cold days led to hot nights in the cabin, Axel and Gunnar wondered if they'd finally found a woman strong enough to tame them....

Beware this is Erotica Paranormal

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

good story for erotica. Gunner is fun as a cat. Too bad this story read by a person who has a bad female voice and just a passable male voice.
Good that author changed readers for book 2

Would you recommend Falke's Peak to your friends? Why or why not?

If you like the 50 shades of Grey, this is fun.

How could the performance have been better?

this reader is awful. I think AKA Renee Nasusser, who is also awful. She keeps changing her name, but can not seem to get better. Give it up!

Could you see Falke's Peak being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

NO, this is not for TV

Narrator is RAW

The narrator, Gina Cedarwood, must be some Audible exec's niece in need of her first job. She made listening to the first half of this imaginative story very hard to get through. By then, she seemed to feel more confident and comfortable though she still needs lessons in order the keep up with the "Big Dogs". The story was worth the credit but I won't listen to this narrator again until she's gain more experience.

HOT!

Loved it. If you like erotica with just enough romance to spice it up perfectly, then this a title for you. And the different interpretation of family and non-human (at least fully human) characters adds an interesting and intiguing twist. I wish there were more books offered by this author in Audible.

Story was great, narration not so much

The idea that there are shifters out there that can go from man to cougar is a nice concept...also a nice touch that one woman for two men had a nice story arc. I wish the book was longer, it had the well promised hotness, but I liked that it had a plot too.

Now for the narrator...gesh...COUGH already! The gravely voice might be a turn on for men...and it might have been suitable for the sex scenes but listening to....what I can only assume was meant to be....a "sexy" gravely voice describing how to button up shoe laces...eh...kind of made it cheesy for a woman to listen to.

If you can tune out the narrator then the book is great.

Completely Absorbed By This Book.

I was so into this story, I didn't want it to end. I've had debates with friends who think the narrator's voice wasn't right for the story - they found it annoying - but I liked it... though I felt like I should warn you that you might not like it. The story itself is unique - different from all the other shifter books on the market today. My full review of the book is available online.

I thought this book was very good!

So I have read all the reviews about the narrator being too raspy, and people didn't really like her, but I thought she did a very good job! If she had a southern accent, she would make a perfect voice for Applejack! I really thought she did a great job!! The story is very cute, a bit predictable, but different enough to make it a very interesting listen to.

Erotica with Laryngitis

Okay, so I guess this voice would be hot if she were talking in a smoky bar,... but reading a book... not so much. I kept wanting to get her a Theraflu, feed her some soup and put her to bed. Other than that it's a pretty good story. Sex scenes weren't too graphic but the male character's dialogue was straight from a porno. Good short sci-fi-fantasy-erotic-distraction story.

Waste of my time

I wouldn't recommend to anyone, just shallow and not believable. Not the kind of book I enjoy.
