What did you love best about Diverse Desires?

Allen and Rose, the incredible duo! Once again, you never let me down! These sexy stories are not your usual erotica. Oh no, there is soooo much more. The wicked twist of hot and horror make these stories stick with you. I found myself at the edge of my seat one each story. Allen has a gift for mixing the two (Read Shady Palms if you haven't yet, it was amaze balls!)

What was one of the most memorable moments of Diverse Desires?

Where do I begin? Every story had its own thing; revenge, war, murder....you name it! I think my favorite stories were Terminal Affair and Her Lovers Touch...

What about Rose Caraway’s performance did you like?

Rose has a voice that could melt butter! She's amazing! She hypnotizes you with the silky smoothness

Perfect mix of Sex and Gore.

Where does Diverse Desires rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Definitely near the top. I can't think of a better author for these type of stories, The way Allen Dusk intertwines horror and erotica is quite masterful. And the way Rose Caraway brings these scenes to life is a thing of beauty. There is not a better duo for this genre.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Hard to pick a favorite character. My favorite story is "Caught White Handed" Leave it to Allen Dusk to find a way to make clown makeup sexy. So well done!

What does Rose Caraway bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The way Rose brings the characters to life is even better than I could conjure up with my imagination. Makes it possible to just kick back and tune everything but the story out.

If you could rename Diverse Desires, what would you call it?

I don't think I would rename it. Diverse Desires is pretty spot on.

Any additional comments?

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this. Allen Dusk and Rose Caraway are two of my favorites. I love when they team up. I also enjoyed all of the mentions to Dusk's other book Shady Palms. ( also narrated by Rose Caraway) So glad I gave this a listen. Would strongly recommend it to anyone who enjoys gore or erotica.

Gruesomely Sexy

I loved this anthology, it has a wide range of subjects and story lengths from the longest story being 56min to the shortest be only 55sec.

Although horror is not my favorite type of reading Allen Dusk manages to makes his story funny, sexy and disgusting all at the same time and it works! The stories in this collection are varied, pixies, clowns, aliens, poems, ghosts, witches and of course my favorite references to THE SHADY PALMS! I was so excited when he mentioned The Shady Palms =D

Rose Caraway as usually sucks you into the stories with her lovely voice making you cheer for the characters to get their freak and their snack on!

If you enjoyed the stories Terminal Affair and Black Sun Bound that have been read on Rose's wonderful podcast The Kiss Me Quicks than you can find them in this anthology among many other wonderful stories.

Dark and Sexy

I loved this! Very Dark and Sexy and lots of fun.
I've been a fan of Rose and her podcast (which introduced me to Allen Dusk) for quite a while now. You two are such a great team. I'd love to have more from you two. Maybe an audio book written by the both of you? Just a thought.

Diverse Desires is Terrifically Twisted

Allen Dusk deserves your full attention, especially when read by Rose Caraway. If Rose is reading it, you know it will be deliciously arousing. If Allen is writing it, you know that you will be led down a safe path only to be knocked off by surprise and/or horror. When put together, it's a fun ride.

These stories work best if you have a chance to relax and focus on the words, mainly because Allen paints detailed scenes with careful words. He makes interesting choices in his style, making use of long sentences that can't be edited down because we would miss important elements. If you are a fan of descriptive prose (think Nicholson Baker) with an injection of danger, then this collection is made for you.

Not everyone survives. Not everyone gets off. Each story has a twist that you rarely see coming.

And, frankly, the clown sex alone makes it worth the price!
