Came across as a comedy, not a sexy story.

I was unable to take this story seriously (thinking it was a comedy) due to the narration. The narrator was able to express emotions and personalities very well, but it came across as comedy to me. I will listen to samples going forward.

Beautifully written

For a short story this one was really packed a lot of emotion she tried to make the story seem as if incest was an issue but it wasn't because these were adults that just met they were not raised together.
I received this free of charge for an honest review.

Couldn't even finish it

The narrator's voice was so wrong for this book, I got about 5 minutes in and couldn't go any further. Bummer.

Perfect Quick Little Read for the commuter ride home. Parts made me laugh put loud.

Narration it's completely wrong

Female narrator completely ruined it for me. Do yourself a favor and just read it. Story is not bad other than the author's obsession with "we are related". Please, it's not working and you can't make it taboo no matter how hard you try. If the author wanted it to be taboo, have than grow up together. But nothing wrong with their situation.
So sad, the chemistry with the couple could have made for a very entertaining book, but it just fell short for me in many ways. **yawn***

Step Sibling Romance...

A short and fun romance about two strangers that have an unknown bond! They are drawn together by passion but may be torn apart by things that they can't change.
Nice story for a quick listen.

What does Cheyanne Humble bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Ms. Humble is a fine narrator. Her characterizations are spot on. You could feel the struggle Justine had when she found out her 'one night stand' was indeed her new step brother. I look forward to listening to more of Ms. Humble's work.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Trey showed his true character and Justine saw him for more than just the wealth he has.

Cured is an hour long sexy romance that explores the relationship between to people who meet, like each other and then find out that they will be related thru marriage. What I liked best about this book is the fact that you found out about the characters and their backgrounds. It wasn't just a meet, sex, and hop into a relationship story line. We saw what made Justine struggle with this new relationship and how she coped with it in the end.

Not my cup of tea

This book made it very difficult for me to form a solid opinion of it. I can't tell if it was just the narration I didn't like or if it was that particular narrator for this particular story. The story itself wasn't anything spectacular or outstanding in any way. People who are into the 'step' romances will probably like it well enough. I would, however, recommend listening to the sample before purchasing and make sure the narration sounds good to you.

Stepbrother Love

This was a very interesting short story. The character was so shocked and kind of nauseated of the fact that she slept with her new stepbrother through a one night stand but also that she fell in love with him. Through all of her whining, shunning, and attitude towards Trevor or Trev, love ended up winning.
