Unbelievably bad

The wording was very annoying for me. Due to the differences in pronunciation and jargon between the UK and USA, I spent many moments getting pissed off about words like 'knickers' and 'herbs'. In the USA, the 'h' in 'herbs' is SILENT. That wouldn't be a problem for listeners in the UK. The summary mentions nothing about the author being from the UK.
Even when I was actively trying to listen, the stories were mainly back ground noise. They did not entertain me. The endings were abrupt and I spent most of the time trying to figure out how the characters got from point A to point B. I know short stories aren't supposed to have all of the details expected from a full length novel, but the story should still flow smoothly.
I would not recommend this audio book.
Disappointing
