I can't even begin to tell you how messed up all of this is for the character of Mia !!!!


Holy crap if she just ignored Korum, everything would have been fine ( I think)

Korum is an amazing lover, but he is on the wrong side to be in love with her.

All I kept saying was RUN GIRL RUN !!!!

I about to start book 2, lets see where is this dude is taking her

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Yes. I almost gave up within the first couple of chapters but decided to hang in to see what the hype was about (both good and bad). Even though I was disappointed in a few aspects I thought the storyline was unique and wanted to find out more.

Would you be willing to try another book from Anna Zaires? Why or why not?

I would be willing to try the second installment of this series written by Ms. AZ only to find out if it gets better after the first book.

Voices all same.

I felt that Ms. Godwin was sincerely trying hard to do a good job with the voices but just fell really short especially those times when, I'm sure, Korum was speaking in a sexy, smoky voice and when there was any other exclamations or inflections needed.

Better than I expected!

This book was better than I expected. I was not sure what to expect from the whole alien theme but if you are a fan of paranormal romance you will enjoy this series. Great character building. I am definitely looking forward to the continuation of this series. Worth the credit!

the whole team should change to childrens books.

the story is ok but no depth. I believe the team of anna zaires and dima zales would make good young adult authors and the narrator is not engaged in the emotions of the characters.

I really love everything about this amazing book it had passionate and intense sex and romance I love this book.

Wimpy Woman!!

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Narration was great! Loved the whole idea of the story. Hated how wimpy the female character was. There is no way that she could've been that sheltered all her life that she had no contact with these invaders!

Obsessive. Compelling. Awesome.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Close Liaisons?

Spoiler. When Mia and Korum talk after the attack. The calm before the storm was gripping.

What does Kathleen Godwin bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I listening enhances the story. You can feel the turmoil, joy, or pace change not just read and imagine it.

He would have her no matter what!

I read this first and just loved how much listening to it deepened my love of this story.

I wish the writer did more for the reader to full in love with the main guy. She did do great with the girl though.... Wish the reader wouldn't have sounded like a robot reading. Didn't have the feeling behind it. But it is a very good story, will be better if you read it yourself though fyi
