For fans of Fifty Shades of Grey and Bared to You comes the second novel in the erotic, fast-paced trilogy that started with Release Me. This sexy, emotionally charged romance continues the story of Damien Stark, the powerful multimillionaire who’s never had to take “no” for an answer, and Nikki Fairchild, the Southern belle who only says “yes” on her own terms.
For Damien, our obsession is a game. For me, it is fiercely, blindingly, real.
Damien Stark’s need is palpable - his need for pleasure, his need for control, his need for me. Beautiful and brilliant yet tortured at his core, he is in every way my match.
I have agreed to be his alone, and now I want him to be fully mine. I want us to possess each other beyond the sweetest edge of our ecstasy, into the deepest desires of our souls. To let the fire that burns between us consume us both.
But there are dark places within Damien that not even our wildest passion can touch. I yearn to know his secrets, yearn for him to surrender to me as I have surrendered to him. But our troubled pasts will either bind us close...or shatter us completely.
Claim Me is an erotic romance intended for mature audiences.

Make no mistake between my personality and my attitude. My personality is who I am, my attitude depends on who you are.........
Waited for second book and it did not disappoint! Now I have to wait for the third....UGH!!!
I really wanted to like this book. I enjoyed the first book and thought that it was a little slow but it picked up in the middle. I figured this one would continue but it was so slow and boring that I fell asleep twice while listening. It is nothing more then a bunch of rambling of everyday tasks while waiting for another sex scene. The scenes are not that great either. I ended up skipping to the last two chapters and have no desire to go back and hear the rest. I have returned the book and will not be getting the third.
I've always been a avid reader so now I'm a avid listener. I prefer the paranormal genre but I do like to switch things up. It's boring if you don't have variety. Of course I do love the romance and the hotter the better. Also, you can't beat a good thriller filled with suspense and a ending you can't even guess at until the very end.
I liked the first book. Love this one! In my opinion this one is more compelling than the first book in the series. I enjoyed getting to know Damien's character better and seeing Nikki becoming a stronger woman through the challenges. Also I love the narrator. I can't wait for book 3!! Please hurry up Audible!
Definelty worth the credit!
This was an excellent follow up to book one. I had lukewarm feelings about the first book, but I was intrigued enough to want book 2...well, now I'm completely hooked! This second book serves up great sex (of course), and still has that suspense that book 1 had as the mystery that is Damien Stark unfolds. I enjoyed Nikki and Damien's relationship much more this time and I'm looking forward to listening to Complete Me.
I didn't read the print version but I hope they are the same. I personally listen to books more than read them because I listen while walking the dog, cleaning the house, etc. reading I do a little of in bed and usually pass out too fast to get the book done in a month :)
Nikki. I like her. She is not weak which was refreshing after reading Gabriel's Inferno. She reminds me of Anna in FSOG but she is not as up tight about having money spent on her. She needs Damien and that fact grows during this book. It is hot and it is heartwarming.
She reads with emotion very well. I swear she must have been turned on reading the sex scenes. But also the emotion in just them saying eachothers names was very real and made the love story so sweet.
Yes for sure - it was hard to turn off. Sorry to my family and friends who got the annoyed responses from me when I had to interact with them :))
It is a good story. Good amount of intrigue, sexy scenes and love story is believable. Worth the credit or the 3 credit to read the series.
I am an avid "reader"- I prefer to listen to books rather than read them due to the added dimension added by the narrator.
This book fleshed out the relationship between Damien and Nikky, and there was a lot of suspense intertwined with the sex. As in the Crossfire series, Nikky doubts herself a lot during the books, and struggles with her urge to return to cutting herself, a practice she began after having grown up with an overly controlling and emotionally abusive mother. This is disturbing, but kept in check through the book. As Nikky becomes more sure of Damien's love for her, she is able to overcome this, except during the most stressful situations. Damien is able to understand her need for pain and provides her with outlets for it that are much healthier. I really like this couple.
