Publisher's summary

For fans of Fifty Shades of Grey and Bared to You comes the second novel in the erotic, fast-paced trilogy that started with Release Me. This sexy, emotionally charged romance continues the story of Damien Stark, the powerful multimillionaire who’s never had to take “no” for an answer, and Nikki Fairchild, the Southern belle who only says “yes” on her own terms.

For Damien, our obsession is a game. For me, it is fiercely, blindingly, real.

Damien Stark’s need is palpable - his need for pleasure, his need for control, his need for me. Beautiful and brilliant yet tortured at his core, he is in every way my match.

I have agreed to be his alone, and now I want him to be fully mine. I want us to possess each other beyond the sweetest edge of our ecstasy, into the deepest desires of our souls. To let the fire that burns between us consume us both.

But there are dark places within Damien that not even our wildest passion can touch. I yearn to know his secrets, yearn for him to surrender to me as I have surrendered to him. But our troubled pasts will either bind us close...or shatter us completely.

Claim Me is an erotic romance intended for mature audiences.

Superb narration, great series

Sofia Willingham is the best female narrator I have ever experienced on Audible. The sound of her voice is extremely pleasant to listen to, is very seductive, and she has the skills to make the different characters come alive. I would listen to anything she narrates.

The Stark Trilogy is an engaging trio of novels, like long chapters of the same book. You are easily drawn into the characters as voiced by Ms. Willingham, and you are totally seduced by the plot and the hidden secrets that are yet to be revealed. The sex is HOT and steamy, and easily put 50 Shades of Gray to shame by comparison. After the first novel, I felt invested in the fate of these characters and wanted more. The plot has some definite surprises I didn't see coming. It keeps things interesting.

I definitely recommend this series.

Can't wait to hear 3rd book

Exciting, sexy, unexpected. This is what I look for in an audio book. This book delivers. The narration is great. There is character definition and consistent without it being in the way if the story. Worth listening to over again... That's a higher praise than worth credits which it is.

Great second book in a fabulous series!

Enjoyed this one as much as the first! Highly recommend. If you missed the first one and are starting with this one, you are still good and can catch up without it being too much backstory.

Get ready to be Damienize

Where does Claim Me rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I would rate this series as one of my favorite.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Damien of course.

Have you listened to any of Sofia Willingham’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I listened to her in Release Me which was the 1st book of the series. I think she did an awesome job.

Any additional comments?

I give this book 4.5 Stars.

It was so good. Ms. Kenner put us on the cliff hanger again. I can't until until July for the 3rd book. In Claim Me, we learned more about Damien's secrets and Damien and Nikki's relationship. Also, we learned more about the supporting characters.

I love the interaction b/c Damien and Nikki. It's scary how they need each other for comfort or each other in general, but at the same time, it's great to see how much in love they are with one another. I love when Nikki used the term "Damienize".

I can't wait to see what will happen in Germany. I am looking forward to listen this book again. :-)

Had to continue after 1st book

I was hooked after the 1st book and had to keep listening. I like the build up and development of the characters as well as their relationship. Love the fun and roll playing of their relationship, it's relate-able with out being too much. Fun easy listen. I recommend.

Continued the wonderful romance

I have read so many of these trilogies and after Sylvia Day's Crossfire series I heard this trilogy would become my favorite too. Yes, this was well written and held me captive until I finished this second book. Loved the narrator and she made the male voice as good as it gets. Enjoyed every hour spent listening to the Stark Trilogy. If you love hot sexual scenes within the story, told in good taste, this is the series for you...

Love it! So much better than Crossfire and FSOG (IMHO)

Wow, I’m liking this better than the Crossfire series and FSOG. It’s crazy chemistry and wild sex that turns into a slow, burning passion. I like the plot twists, and the feels that I didn’t get with the others. Ava in the Crossfire novels always seemed so fake and ridiculously pretentious to me (as well as THAT Damian, Damian Cross-so unbelievably “perfect”) and it just annoyed me. And the terrible ending!!! And FSOG, where he just needed to give pain, and Anastasia didn’t enjoy it (really, at first) and just succumbed to Christian and tolerated it until he kinda fell in love, and then HEA. 🙄🤔 idk. In the Stark Trilogy so far, Nicki seems to be an all American girl with mother issues, and sexy Damian Stark with dad issues. Lots of issues from their pasts which connects them in a deep way. They mesh together so well, and I just get the “soul mate” vibe between them, like it’s not all just kink and physical attraction, but gets so much deeper. It’s artsy and creative and good writing; the narration is stellar with different voice tones for different characters. That’s just my feelings 🤩 Anyways, I’m glad I learned about J Kenner as an author, and will be buying everything now on their list 🤣 Enjoy!

It was mostly filler but still hot!

I'm glad I only have to wait until July for the third book! What can I say about this book, it was a bridge between book 1 & 3. We learned more about the male lead, he became more adorable, but the female lead actually became less adorable and more flawed. Flawed is good in these types of books but I prefer to see the flaw improve not get worse, so it kind of left a dullness about it that I'm sure book 3 will cure, but still a bad taste to end on.
