"My real name is Sadie, and once a month over lunch Joe tells me about his latest conquest. But what Joe doesn't know is that, in my mind, I'm the star of every X-rated one-night stand he has revealed to me, or that I'm practically obsessed with our imaginary sex life. I know it's wrong. I know my husband wouldn't understand. But I can't stop. Not yet."

"This is not a traditional romance but the story of a real and complex woman caught in a difficult situation with no easy answers. Well-developed secondary characters and a compelling plot add depth to this absorbing and enticing novel.? (Library Journal)
I've decided that Megan's books are good but not addictive. She does write a broad well developed story but it's not the "I can't put it down" kind. This story was an interesting one and a little hot. I just would have liked for more of the story to have focused on the eventual love story between the two main characters rather then the unhappy marriage.
This book would make a great psychiatric case study. I found it difficult to differientate between what was real and when she was living vicarioulsy through her friends narcissitic woes and sexual encounters.
Not on this subject matter. This book was ad nauseous and hopeless depressing.
The contents of the book did not do her any justice.
I could not stomach the book any longer and had to halt my listening. It was very hard to distinguish the characters.
I used one of my points for this story and I wish I could get a refund
It was good... Just not one that I would listen to again.
Good easy listening
It was well written and easy listening...
yes, the story was great and the narrator was awesome.
wife bec/ she was so strong and dedicated.
Not what you think, when the book first starts.
The meetings between her and Joe.
Yes, but like to drag it out so the book lasts.
Broken was a good book that I would recommend. It didn't have the really happy ending that I wanted, but I don't think that in that situation there really could have been. It did leave me feeling a little sad.
Hard to say without giving too much of the story away. I probably would have ended it after Joe came to Sadie's house, but I can see why she didn't. I just like books with happy endings where you know everyone is going to live happily ever after and you don't really know that with this book.
Haven't listened to any other of her books before.
I would like to see a followup story. I feel like I am really missing out on the end of the story. I want to know what happens next.
This is the second Megan Hart book I listened to. I liked Dirt better, but this is also a good book. Worth listening to.
Sexy and intense
the graphic sex scenarios
everything was good about this book
love this book
Say something about yourself!
I would definitely recommend to a friend. The story is erotic yes, but I love the way Megan Hart tells a story. It not just about the eroticism.
She wasn't bad, but I have enjoyed the narration on other Hart books more. She did grow on me as the story progressed.
I liked the relationship between the main character and her sister. It was very real, they way that they fought, got past it, then loved one another.
Very well written. I really cared about the characters and found myself thinking of being in their situations. It was very hard to put down. The narrator was very good too!
Boring! Who could care about these characters? The constant sex with random people that Joe has is booorrriiingggg! Not to mention the women he keeps sleeping with leave me cold. Ick!
