Publisher's summary

It's been months since Brian Sinclair, lead guitarist for the famous rock band Sinners, composed anything. Unable to write the music that once flowed so naturally, Brian is lost without his musical mojo. But when sexy psychology professor Myrna Evans comes on tour to study groupie mentality, Brian may have found the spark he needs to reignite his musical genius. When lust turns to love, will Brian be able to convince Myrna that what they have is more than just a fling, and that now that he's found his heart's muse, he doesn't want to live without her?

This book rocks! - Literally!

When I started listening to this book, I thought it was a bit shallow. Just a bunch of hot sexy scenes, but when you get further in the book, you really get to know the characters in the band "Sinners". They are very amusing, lovable and at times laugh-out-loud funny.

I think this is a gareat first book in the series. It has a fascinating and fun story with some sweet romance and a lot (and I mean A LOT) of really hot, steamy and sexy scenes.

To top it off; the narrator does a fantastic job. She really brings the charaters to life and makes it all come together in harmony. I really enjoy narrators when they are not monotone and flat. Justine O. Keef is excellent and lively. She will definitely be put on my favorite-narrator list.

I think this book is great and it is well worth the credit if you like bad-ass rock stars, romance and hot sexy scenes.

ROCK ON!

Quite Erotic

This book was very erotic with enough story to make it interesting. I would definitely recommend this book. I also thought the reader did an excellent job.

WOW!

What did you love best about Backstage Pass?

i loved both Myrna and Brian and the other guys in the band. plus the setting allowed for all the scenes in the book. done really well. there was humor in the novel and it didn't irritate me (thank goodness). i actually laughed out load several times. there was also a lot of sex but in those scenes the characters showed their emotions, which i enjoyed immensely.
i loved how sensitive Brian was and totally opposite of Myrna and that they loved each others differences. i loved Myrna sticking up for Brian to his parents and showing him how much she loved him. i even liked the drama with Myrna and her ex that created her view point throughout the novel until the end where she let her guard down.
i mean i liked this novel so much i listened to it in two days and already bought the next book on audio.
it's not the deepest novel i've read, but it was very fun, sexy, and entertaining. i'm already on to the next in the series ;D

What was one of the most memorable moments of Backstage Pass?

when Myrna stood up to Brians parents and told them they were jackasses for the way they treat him.

What about Justine O. Keef’s performance did you like?

how she brought the scenes to life through her voices. made it very enjoyable.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

i laughed all the time. the band members were hilarious and the sex scenes were dynamite. definite entertainment.

I got bored.

Now I do not shy away from sex in a novel. Nothing really offends me, to be honest. But there is sex that drives a story and then there's sex just for the hell of it because characters just want to bang because they just don't have much else to do.

The characters grew too slowly. Merna kept secrets so close that she didn't even share them with the reader. She hid behind said secrets and just wanted the great sex with Brian which made her cold and shallow in the long run without much depth to her personality. Brian wanted the great sex and the relationship and we are forced to discover Merna through his perspective and it left me in the dark with Brian. He was in love alone and left only to woo her through sex. My issue is that someone like Merna is a one night stand that leaves a standing memory but when it comes down it, she's a blackhole for me. I knew i should feel sympathy for her, but it took FOREVER (near the ending) to even find out WHY! Im all about the freaky sex, however, if you use that to drive your story, then the couple have no sustainability for me. All sex and no emotional depth left me bored and annoyed with them both.

A Whole New Level of Wow!

I was going to skip this one since I wasn't really that interested in a storyline about Rock Stars and the women who love them -- but the reviews were pretty awesome, so I let the reviewers pick this one for me. (Thanks!)

A group of randy rock stars meet a Human Sexuality Professor in a hotel lounge and the fun starts! This book is witty, sweet and even romantic, but the sex scenes are in a class all their own. This has to be the hottest erotica series out there right now -- with great characters, an well written plot and a perfect reader. And did I mention the mind-blowing sex scenes?

Justine O. Keef's performance was pitch perfect, and her male characters were believable and sexy. Again, Wow!

Lock the door, turn off the phone, close the curtains and pour a glass of wine. Once you start Backstage Pass, you won't want any distractions!

Sexy Rockstars!

What a Sexy start to this series! The characters Olivia gave us were sexy, wounded, and a whole lot yummy. Myrna and Brian were just what each other needed whether they knew it or not. I loved it. My only downside was it was a bit long but it was cram packed with lots of great scenes and background. Overall, great story. Look forward to reading more.

Narration was great. Loved the voices and was a great production. No complaints.
