Trained in classics at Dartmouth, McCarthy found his true voice at the poetry slam in Cambridge, Massachusetts, at the Cantab. He quickly became a legend in the slam nation community and shared his prose poems with thousands. This audio reading and performance of his work includes "Drunks" and "Epithalamian".
