Publisher's summary

Edinburgh, 1759. The Nor' Loch is being filled in, officially because it's a stinking cesspool. But why are there so many whispered stories about the loch - stories about the Doctor, and the many hands of Alexander Munro?

Could have been a TV episode

This is a good one. A story, a bit of twisting... Definitely could have been an episode.
Performance was great. Troughton put effort in it and it shows.
