Stopped at Chapter 8
I’m sure this is a good book, but I would barely know because it is so slow to get into. I tried to give it a good go but 8 chapters in and I can’t do it anymore, it’s so dull. There’s no hook to keep you in and I just was not enjoying it. I’m sure some will enjoy it but it just isn’t my style.

Great story!
Mary Jane Clark had me guessing until the end! Beth Fowler did an excellent job of giving each character it’s own voice.

Great read
This is a great mystery and very well preformed. I couldn’t stop listening. It’s another wonderful Mary Jane Clark read.

It was just ok
The twist at the end was the best part. Otherwise kinda boring story. Hard to get invested in the characters. Not a lot of character development.

Different characters and transition
The story and mystery it’s self was good and interesting. However at times it was difficult to figure out which characters narration was being told. Also to recall all of the different characters, had to push through. Definitely not a book to listen to while working or being preoccupied with to be absent minded.

Good twist

A bit cringy
This book is very dated and the terminology used is cringe-worthy. I wanted to quit several times because it was hard to listen to, but glad I found out who did it but probably will steer clear of this author again.

Captivating
This was the best so far of Ms Clark's stories. The storyline allowed me to leave it and pick up later. Wow what a twist at the end. I'm ready for the next book.
