Great college romance

This is a unique story. Loved the cute and fun romance. There's also a side plot that wasn't expected and I enjoyed it.

A good, short, listen!

This was a great story. The characters were sweet, believable, and it didn’t take me long at all to fall in love with them. Helena’s insecurities reminded me very much about how I felt at that age, and Alejandro is the type of guy most girls dream of! Add in his own dilemma, and their subsequent dance around responsibilities, struggles, and their insane attraction, and you’ve got a sweet college romance in the making.

Cute college romance. It is filled with adorable romance that will make you swoon page after page!

The narration was amazing! Lacy was perfect in her execution!

Good Listen

Helena sees Alejandro in the cafeteria and is immediately attracted to him. They have a class and she falls into his life and a relationship starts. Neither are looking to for this because they have plans that must be completed. Someone from his pasts comes and derails everything. Can they survive her and be able to make it work. I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator.

Sweet new adult romance!

Sometimes I find it difficult to relate to new adult books, but Lori Ann Gerlisky has written a sweet, passion filled story is easy to enjoy! Helena is a student, worried about her grades to keep her scholarship and has no interest in a relationship. Alejandro is finishing his schooling while overseeing the construction and management of a new casino. The two have instalust, but is that enough to build a relationship on? With arranged marriages, reputations and schooling, there is a lot going on with this couple. I enjoyed Helena's character, she is naive to an extent but also is a person confident in knowing what she wants. There is nothing not to like about the Alejandro. He is hardworking, good looking and passionate about what he wants. But do you always get what you want? This is a short listen, but is packed with lust, love, trust and family, all culminating into a great listen.

This narration by Lacy Laurel is wonderful. Her voicing of Helena brings that hesitancy and yearning that you can remember being that age. I especially loved her slight Spanish accent she uses for Alejandro, bringing that Latin passion into his voice. Another excellent performance you are sure to enjoy.

Sweet Short New Adult Story

This was my first Lori Ann Gerlisky's book. This is a new adult story and love at first sight. The two main characters, Alejandro and Helena, are great together. Alejandro is mature and handsome and Helena is kind and naive. This is a short and cute love story. The narration was amazing and easy to listen, as always with Lacy Laurel. I love her voice. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.
