Quick Listen

There’s a killer on the loose. One with power and stealth. Bill is unfortunate enough to come across it one day. Somehow, he survives, but he doesn’t forget the encounter. Fueled to catch the murderer, his quest becomes a race against the clock. The killer has moved its sights from Bill to those dearest to him.

Bill was a standard type of character. He had a normal job and average life. He’s the kind of character that readers can relate to. While he made some questionable decisions, they were the kind that anyone in his type of situation might think would work. I loved the way the author eased us into his mind.

It was easy to guess the killer about midway through the book, but that didn’t detract from the suspense. There was something almost titillating about knowing who the killer was before the main character.

I’ll admit this book was a little hard for me to get into at the start, but I stuck through it, and I’m glad I did. The twist at the end was amazing.

Narration was okay. A little overdramatic in spots, but still easy to listen to.

A decent thriller

Enjoyed the book immensely.
It is fairly fast paced.
And the author builds the tension.
Unfortunately I worked out who the murderer was early in the book.

Decent Thriller

This is my 1stbook by author and thought it was good. It is about a serial killer and enjoyed the characters of Bill and Dixie. Bill is order to exercise for his health but nearly misses being killed and the killer still wants him as well as his girlfriend Dixie. Hint it took a bit to get into it but keep listening. Interesting Story

The story wasn't to bad, but the writing style seemed very simple. It's more the a school project story maybe. The, he did this & it did that got VERY annoying. Example..... he heard a noise, he got up from the chair, he went to the door, he turned the door handle, he opened the door, he walked through the door...See what mean? The same issue with the killer, referred to as "it".

The narrator was way OVER dramatic in reading for the killer & the killing. He's not to bad, but not what I need to help me get into a story or into characters in the story.
