Publisher's summary

After his apparent resurrection, the beloved leader Victor Quade is hailed internationally as God. Yet when Victor mandates that everything from purchasing groceries to seeing a doctor will require a mark of allegiance to him, Emma Grady and her friends in New York City know they must go on the run, recognizing that Victor is not the savior he appears to be.

Meanwhile, in Israel, the Jewish people worship Victor as a messiah, not realizing he intends to seal their doom. As Jews and Jesus-followers around the globe are losing their lives, Zerah Adler strives to protect as many as possible in this violent, volatile time.

In this spellbinding conclusion to the end-times trilogy that began with The Time of Jacob’s Trouble, the best-selling author of The Christmas Shoes brings the stories of Emma and Zerah to a riveting close. In the final chapters, you’ll discover what God’s word says about the glorious future that awaits you, and you’ll see that things aren’t spiraling downward but are instead looking up!

The series was excellent!!

Thank you Mrs VanLiere!!!! I have been a believer and Christ follower since childhood, raised in a very Christian home. I was taught much, but I never understood Revelation and the tribulation as well as I do now after reading/listening to the series!! May God richly bless you and please write more!!!!More books similar to this, on other books of the Bible. Unique learning experience for young and old!!

Listen to the entire series

Amazing story telling, but my favorite part for all three books was “where in the word”. I listened to them but am seriously considering buying physical books so I can read again and be able to use that section in my personal study.

A Treasure of God’s Truth

I hope millions will decide to read this trilogy. It is so enlightening but it’s also entertaining because it’s written as a novel. I would recommend it to anyone who is questioning what the end of times will be like.

Nothing new here.

I purchased this novel after hearing a rave review from a popular Christian podcaster. Expecting a story of Left Behind quality, I’m disappointed to say this story is nothing more than a generic rehash of End Times events, with the feel of a cheap sequel of some blockbuster movie; imagine, say, Rocky 35. The characters are only marginally developed and utterly uninspiring (no Ray Steele or Buck & Chloe Williams here). The entire effort comes across as an author writing out of nothing more than inertia, as if her sole inspiration was meeting a contractual deadline.

The reading itself is overly-dramatic and at times, just annoying. A bit of restraint in some parts might have kept me from hitting the fast forward button so many times.

Sorry, there is nothing new here. I recommend avoiding this audible book and trying something else.
