Love excellent narrators like Ray Porter. Love the Joe Ledger series.
Although not as good as Yes Minister, still a wonderful audiobook.
My hero is Sir Humphrey, who personifies all that is wrong with bureaucracy and how to navigate it.
It also tells us how illogical and inflexible the bureaucracy can be when it comes to protecting their interests.
No wonder Thatcher loved this series.
I wish the Series were continued by BBC, as it forms a more better satire than West Wing or other series.
I purchased all three volumes but after Importing in iTunes I only see Vol 1 and Vol2. However windows media player shows all three volumes? Unfortunately I need to use iTunes for my iPod and am not able to use it.
Another annoying part is there is no data for each track. I have seen a short description show for some audio books. Here you get only Track1, Track2 and so on.
"A Classic Comedy Masterclass"
Following the story of the Prime Minster of Great Britain fantastically portrayed by Paul Eddington with a supporting cast of outstanding actors in Nigel Hawthorne and Derek Fowlds this is a fantastically engaging and entertain audio. With Nigel Hawthrone providing yet more examples of his linguistic talents with some truly memorable long winded explanations that has the Prime Mister utterly confused it is difficult not to imagine that this is what occurs on Number 10 in real life! If you have yet to listen to volumes one and two then I would highly recommended securing them for your audio library as swiftly as possible!
"Great as always but the runnign order is wrong"
I would like to note that the episode in Yes Prime Minister 1, 2 and are in the wrong order. This is evident in the overall story line but also when compared to the TV series. I don't know if this can be addressed by audible?
This is an easy, enjoyable listen. Not quite as good as some of the earlier series but helps the commute go quicker
