The Comedy Store is one of the most legendary stand-up clubs in the country, if not the world. Opened in 1972, the venue is the place for rising comedians to be seen and has been host to superstar comedians like Richard Pryor, Johnny Carson, Rodney Dangerfield, Robin Williams, Dave Chappelle, and too many more stellar names to list.
This audiobook compiles some of the best routines in The Comedy Store’s history in celebration of its 20th anniversary. Comics featured include Jim Carrey, David Letterman, and many more.
As the comedians honed their craft on "The Store's" stages, the industry took notice. Many of today's superstar comedians attribute the meteoric rise of their show business careers to their time spent at The Comedy Store.
And they're all here, and many others paying tribute to the club that started it all...the world famous Comedy Store.

I was expecting 5 minute clips from a dozen big names that came out of the comedy store that would be worth the asking price. About half the program is describing what it was like to work for the comedy store. The rest mostly not the really big names or not doing their best stuff. It is like a cut rate documentary that could not afford to license good historic footage.
