Audible Editor Reviews

Kurt Metzger, a regular on Comedy Central, finds jokes in environmental disasters, Jamaicans, and infidelity in a bemused, incredulous tone.

Fans of Norm MacDonald will love Metzger’s gruff, profane material, which is rooted in an absurd sense of the world. In one bit, for instance, he imagines an expletive-laced name for a big-and-tall clothing store. In another, he makes fun of creationists who scoff at the idea of humans descending from apes: "If you think something with a talking snake and magic apple [is believable]," he jokes, "where do you draw your crazy lines?"

Recorded in a club, Metzger is relaxed and engaged with a crowd that loves his politically incorrect humor.
